Definitely feeling euphoric about the start and about Woodson's tenure so far. Hope its not too soon to feel euphoric.

As awesome as this season has been so far, and as much as I'm enjoying it, I'm not feeling "euphoric." What this start has done for me is raise the bar big time. So what would have been considered a successful season just a few weeks ago is no longer the case. I now have much higher goals for this team.

Not sure this makes sense, but rather than feeling euphoric, I now am focused on what this team needs to do to meet these new, much loftier goals.

Erniecat - it makes perfect sense. If someone told you in October the Knicks would be 18-5 you would possibly call them too optimistic... or crazy. Now that they have achieved a most excellent start to the season you are not satisfied and want more.

It's called moving the goal posts. It's cool.

Beat Houston.

Not only are the Knicks 18-5 but the other teams in the division are already at double digit for loses.

Yupper.

At some point -- not quite yet, but at some point -- it will be time to shift the focus south (if you know what I mean, and I know you do).

Beat Houston.

Exactly, Earl.

By the way, I have stolen your signature "Beat (insert next opponent here)" as a sign-off when I send an email on the Knicks to someone.

Hope this is OK...

I don't have any euphoric feeling yet. I've been a fan since the late 70s so I have seen the team go up and down a couple times. I do get enjoyment from watching the Knicks play well, play an entertaining brand of basketball and knowing from my years of watching the NBA that it's a winning formula even in the playoffs.

The 18-5 record... well, I don't mean to sound overconfident but after the team finished the season 18-6 under Woodson I felt that a .750 winning % wasn't out of the question for this group especially with the veteran additions and the PG spot being settled down.

So color me eager to see the Knicks better that finish with a 19-5 start that also avenges the worst loss this season. Again not to be overconfident but with how this team is shaping up and without any major injury issues making it to at least the second round and a threat to beat everyone they meet in the playoffs is what I look forward to.

Euphoria will be seeing the team drenched in champagne and third title banner raised in the Garden since I have been watching the Knicks about as long as one can without getting a chance to see it.

Amen to this. The euphoria won't come till Melo and Co. are seated at City Hall as the mayor speaks (if you know what I mean, and I know you do).

18-5 = Euphoric
