Good question

Last night, I re-watched every game this season and, so far, they have converted 23 alley oops together.

Tyson has 31 total for the year if you add in Kidd and Pablo

Agreed
If I had to guess I would lean closer to 2 per game than 1 oop per game.

You're either a very sarcastic person or had a lot of free time last night and somehow managed to watch over 20 games in a single evening.

This is simple....
If you have all games recorded you can fast-forward and watch only Tyson and Felton (the longest and the fattest players in orange and blue).

I may be wrong but, they aren't counting his tap-outs as rebounds. Same thing with his put-backs. I can understand it with the tap-outs since he doesn't have possession on the actual ball but, the put-backs, they should add to his offensive rebound total. He's been getting ripped off by the stat keepers.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

They both do count as rebounds. That's why Tyson is third in the league in offensive rbs/game. I've been following the box scores during the games. I actually was surprised the tap outs counted.

if its clearly Tyson he gets the board. If it goes out of bounds or isnt clear who secured the ball its a 'team rebound'

Right; I just meant the times where Tyson taps it to a teammate who catches the ball and secures the possession.

Of course they are counted!

Why wouldn't they be?

there were a few games when he was cheated out of the offensive rebound on put backs. They gave him the points but, not the rebound. I'll go back and watch and give you an idea of when they/it occurs.

So uhm.. any numbers besides the doubtful/sarcastic '23'? I do enjoy reading all your comments btw, good read since I can't watch all the Knicks games. I just heard the announcer saying the Tyson/Raymond combo on alley oops is #1 ranked at the moment and just shocked me with a tingling delight and a hint of confusion, kinda like Hannah Simone from New Girl whispering to me that I'm handsome and then disappears quickly and quietly, no numbers.. I want numbers.. numbers man..

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Raymond Felton and Chandler had hooked up for an NBA-leading 21 alley-oops entering play Wednesday night. That was eight more than the next-best duo. Chandler and Felton added three more to their total against Brooklyn, the most impressive of which came in the third quarter with the Knicks up two. Felton found Chandler rolling to the rim after a screen and Chandler finished with a reverse, sparking a 16-6 run to end the quarter.

Chandler also finished one from Pablo Prigioni later in the third quarter, highlighting the Nets' porous defense around the rim.

Let's go Knicks. That's amare

Felton gotta pad his assist total somehow since he lacks pg vision and puts up too many shots
