I used to try to get them for my kids but they were not into them. I had them as a kid! Clyde was my hero and he was the first with a signiture shoe! Im trying to figure out how a 50 year old white man can wear them and look cool. I can't see them on me.

Can't believe I used to actually play in those things! Amazing what you could get away with when your ankles are in high school.
Had the white with the black stripe, all suede.

I destroyed my ankle at age 15 paying in Suede Converse. I mean torn ligaments and all. Don't know if any sneaker could have helped but they, along with Clyde's today were be considered "leisure" type shoe.

Had a dark green pair of Clydes back in the day. Hard to find it in that color, not to mention my size.

They got different colors, but this one is crazy!

Come to think of it, Clyde was a big proponent of heavily taped ankles.
