Amazing to see. Melo is one of the greatest offensive students in the game today, you don't become as great of a scoring phenom such as Melo unless you're an amazing student of the game in your own right. Melo working with Hakeem 'the dream' Olajuwon? Priceless for Melo's game and career moving forward.

You know what's a little weird? Carmelo Anthony and Hakeem Olajuwon appear to be very close in physical size (height wise). Hakeem was always listed as being 7'0, but after looking him up on wiki it clearly states "Listed at 7 ft 0 in (2.13 m) (but closer to 6 ft 10 in (2.08 m) by his own admission). Melo's listed as being 6'8. Which I believe to be accurate because when shoulder to shoulder with a 6'6 Kobe Bryant it's visually noticeable that Melo's taller. Where am I going with this? Just watch the video. If Melo can take a page out of Hakeem's book and/or learn a thing or two from one of the greatest of all-time? The sky then becomes the limit for Melo moving forward.

was this during training camp? Don't remember ever seeing this clip
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Same question I was wondering. Neither have I. One thing that's wild, is that Hakeem still has his moves in which made him great. Hakeem is not only smooth, but he's still explosive coming out of his moves. If Melo can learn from Hakeem, study film of Hakeem during his younger days, and perfect some of Hakeem's spin moves? Forget about it. I'd love to see Ewing work out live with some of these NBA talent, would just be something fun to watch.

Yeah that's one thing I got from the video is that Hakeem and Melo's build are similar. Without the rib pads you see how broad MElo is and understand why he is so strong. Even the amar'e video it looked like Stat was thin but that maybe just me.

I will never EVER forget what Hakeem did to then MVP David Robinson in that playoff series.

Damn. Just watch that Amar'e video not even 5 seconds after watching Melo's workout with Hakeem. Stoudemire is something special, talent wise. He looks more natural working with Hakeem when compared to Melo. Which is expected, he's more of a natural athletic PF when compared to a wing man in Melo, who can also play bully ball off the blocks at any given moment.

I think these boys are just gonna go out there and play ball. Kidd, Felton, Melo, Stoudemire and Chandler... Playing ball. The return of Stoudemire can become special one way or another. Just look at our Knicks team the season before Stoudemire when compared to Amare's first season with NY. He changed our culture. We dreaded watching Knick games pretty much after Ewing and before Amar'e. So, why can't Stoudemire become a force with the likes of Felton, Kidd, Meo, Rasheed, Chandler, J.R Smith, Novak etc, etc when compared to the likes of Felton, Fields, Gallo, Wilson Chandler, Mozgov, Turiaf, Douglas etc, etc.

If he's worked on nothing but low post moves during the offseason with Woodson when compared to shooting 3's under D'Antoni? With Hakeem as the teacher? Could be hungry upon return. Losing his brother, injuries aside, must've hurt him more than any NBA injury. Can take your heart away. He seems hungry to not only fit in, but contribute once returning. Would be amazing to see STAT put up 18-22 points per game off solid shooting percentages. Looked sharp during his one preseason performance before having to have the cyst removed. Well, now it's removed. And he's on the verge of returning.

Off the bench or as a starter and/or how long until he becomes a starter? It doesn't matter, we're on the verge of replacing the likes of either Copleland or White with Stoudemire. Stoudemire can also eat into minutes of aging vets such as Kurt, Camby and Rasheed. As another way of keeping our veteran BIG's rested come postseason play. Kidd stated the other night, during an MSG interview, that this is only dress rehearsal coming off a big win. Are you kidding me? What if these guys turn it up a notch come mostseason play?

What if our veteran BIG's in which Amar'e has never been surrounded with light a fire into Stoudemire that's never been seen before before. An aging Shaq? Try multiple big men such as Kurt Thomas, Marcus Camby when healthy, Rasheed Wallace and Tyson Chandler. The pressure of Stoudemire performing might push his game through the roof top.

Sorry for the long winded posts all the time, my fingers get to typing with a mind of it's own. Need a newport now. lol. STAT is coming back baby!
