Amare Stoudemire (knee) looked "tremendous" during a 90-minute workout prior to Sunday's game, according to beat writer Alan Hahn.Video of Stoudemire's workout confirms that he was moving quickly and shooting jumpers with apparent ease. He's roughly expected back around Christmas, and possibly sooner, and he's expected to come off the bench and allow Carmelo Anthony to continue starting at PF. The knee injury and subsequent demotion have dented his fantasy appeal, to be sure, but it's time to pluck him off any waiver wires. Dec 9 - 8:01 PM

Knicks will be better with Amar'e starting or off bench. This team is really going to be good.

I just have a feeling Woody is going to get the most out of him. And I think he's going to add a much needed dimension to this team. I wouldn't be surprised if he's back as a starter within a month and playing well with Melo. That's how much confidence I have in Woodson as a coach right now. And if not he'll be the best 6th man in the league. Imagine a second unit of Prigs, JR, Novak, Stat and Camby/Sheed.

The author is making an assumption that Melo will stay at the 4 and Amare will come off the bench. Does he really Kurt Thomas is starting at the 4. Holding down the fort for Amare?

Amar'e will ultimately start but I can see him coming off the bench for a week or so. Not a big deal. Even if Amar'e comes off the bench he will get starter minutes. That is all that really matters.

Dare I say........................ PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!

Probably around 230-238 in these pictures.

It's his cousin, Hyam Rubinstein.

But I know we are skeptical when it comes to Stat, but he does look the best I can remember ever seeing him in a knicks practice uni. Maybe he has been working his ass off, which is why there has been no sight of him until a week ago.

Maybe he'll come back great.

*Knock on Stats wooden knees*

Not believing a dam thing until I see him in game. This guy gets hyped like no other every year.

Yes, he is a physical specimen. But dont think his body can hold up in an 82 game season.
