these are the knicks martin. "big game, everyone hurt" = knicks mantra. if that werent the case, the knicks would have some hardware and at least one championship by now

bottom line is this game falls on Kurt, Sweetney, Baker, Nazr and even Othella. These guys HAVE to take it to Blount, Bosh, Moiso.. even Marshall plays some 4 because Tor is so bad up front.

Take care of the ball, wear them down inside, own the boards.. because of the matchups and its a home game this is about as must a win as must wins get this time of year. I think they get it done.

yeah, um, i'm not holding my breath waiting for kurt to show up when we need him. tough matchup b/c rose typically has good games against us and vince is vince. you're right, our big men HAVE to dominate this game...

I'll be at the game tonight, I hope this isnt a blowout man. I wish one of these injured guys would suck it up and play.

the problem is we have no shooters to spread the defense.. this is the problem with missing both TT and Houston. God forbid Penny hit an open perimeter shot.

Don't see us winning this game. We have nobody healthy, even Marbury is hearting. Our frontline is supposed to dominate somebody? Are you kidding me? KT dominatnig? When has KT ever deliverd anything? He is notorious for putting up big numbers in losses. Back in the day you knew if KT put up big numbers, the Knicks got killed.

Also, asking OH to do anything more then set illegal picks and faul people for no reason is not fare. Also, neither of our bigmen is a scorer, no lowpost presence unless Baker somehow plays like he never had a drink in hif life.

But most importantly, scoring is not even the biggest problem. Its the D. As in we don't play any. Anderson is supposed to be a defensive stopper, yet he gets torched every night. So does Penny. Anybody still has an excuse of why Anderson is playing in the NBA? And Penny should have retired a long tiem ago if he had any pride. Going out there and bing how he is after being a 1st NBA baller is a disgrace. Kinda like Ali boxing longer then he should have. I guess money is too good to pass up the embrassment. Then again, Deke would have retired by now too then if these guys had any shame.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Next 5 games after this Toronto game are:

1. Pistons
2. Traiblazers
3. Nets
4. 76ers
5. Pacers

This Toronto game is a MUST win...
if we are still seeded after the Pacers game, We are set!

After that the rest of the regular season looks like:
6. Bulls
7. Wizards
8. Hornets
9. Cavaliers

I think we can squeeze 3 out of 4 here...
That Cavs game might be a decider for 7 or 8th seeds.

We must win today against Toronto.. or our backs will really be up against the wall playoff wise.
Good thing is the teams we are competing with have similar difficult games ahead.

We need these starters back soon for this playoff stretch.
These guys need to show some heart and tough it out.
I think we can do it! and we will!

Final Knicks 102 - Raptors 94
Go Knicks!!!!!!!!

Well I can count on one of 2 things tonight.

A) The garden will be going nuts because of this games implications.
B) They will be down 15 in the first and I will have to sit through a boo fest.

Actually there a lot of games where Kurt had a huge game and the Knicks won, Win in Milwalkee one of them, the problem is his good games have been few and far between this year. That Milwalkee game must've been at least 3months ago.

I dont know about that.. even though we are still banged up Memphis is one of the best teams in the NBA. We got railroaded because they are probably a better team when Houston and TT healthy. With 34 points a game and our two best shooters riding pine that game had blowout written all over it.

The Raptors and NOT Memphis. We need to get Nazr going early because with Steph hurting and no shooters the perimeter game is pretty bad.

I think you can also count on something else for tonight's game:

ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

But hey, Channel 2's got March Madness! The players aren't as good, but they play like they want it. The Knicks this year are inconsistent in so many ways, except one: they are consistently boring. After LJ retired, there was no one left to bring any passion to the game. Marbury's talented, but too much of a punk, Houston and TT are talented but have less personality between them than Tim Duncan, and KT and Nazr are not much better. The bench looks like the waiting room at the VD clinic: no spring in their step.

No matter what happens this season, and believe me I'm rootin' for them to get into the playoffs, Isiah has his work cut out this summer. This is one hell of a boring team to watch, par for the course in the Leastern Conference.

I got a feeling tonight is gonna be one of those games were Raptors get up by 12 early. Knicks get within 4 alot of times but just can't get the big bucket to pull it within 1 basket to tie and they lose 92-87. Hope i'm wrong tho.

its good to see H20 back [if he's ready], but a win is a win and NY has to start making them count
