Passing the ball at crunch time shows no confidence when you are open in game pressure situations with the clock expiring.

I think we only have 3 Felton, JR and Melo.

The rest will pass the ball at crunch time. Novak hasn't shown me yet that he can be counted on at the end of a game with a last second shot against a good opponent.

What do you all think ?

Hmmmmmmm, lets see.

If Melo gets a cut on his finger, how about JR SMITH?

I had this vision to me in my sleep. Or did I fall asleep watching the DVR of the game last nite?

Lets make it official:

1. YouTube Melo
2. JR smith
3. Stat (if he plays, he is healthy)
4. Felton
5. Know Vhack
6. Kidd

The more players that are willing to take and make the last shot is to our advantage especially playing in the Garden.

Opposing teams won't know who to double up on and that would play to our advantage.

This season FT numbers are Kidd (94%) and Melo(81%), Felton (68%) JR(88%), they all would have to be consistent in knocking down free throws, knowing being fouled goes along with the risk of taking the last shot as time is expiring. Amare last yr shot (75%)

There's nothing wrong with passing the ball in crunch time if that's the best play.

If it's OK for Jordan to pass the ball in the closing seconds of the deciding game of the Finals so Jim Paxson and Steve Kerr can take the final shot I think that Melo, JR, and Felton should be able to as well.

A better question for this team would be:
WHO ON THE KNICKS CAN WE NOT COUNT ON TO TAKE A LAST SECOND SHOT?

I never said it was wrong to pass the ball in a crunch time play, I said "game pressure situations with the clock expiring meaning YOU AREthe open guy.

In the videos Paxon and Kerr were the open guys, that's why Jordan & Grant passed them the ball.

Even Brewer is becoming clutch although I would give it to some of the other guys on the list first.

The idea is who can we trust to MAKE the shot?

JR Smith's buzzer beater was a thing of beauty. The Victor Cruz salsa moment was cool too.

Anyone as long as it not the same person and same 1 on 5 play every time. JR has a knack for hitting clutch, well guarded, off-balanced shots. I had a feeling that ball was going in

Next turn for last shot? The man on JR's right - Steve Novak from three.
