He had the audacity to say his 8 miss FT's is not the reason they lost by 4 pts...F**g really you jerk..

Not only do I think he has no competition at his position since he has come into the league, I'm positive he would not even make an all star team in the 90's..

Tyson chandler shut him down one on one last season with very little help..With out perimeter players around him, he's avg..He's been playing in the east which hasn't had a true power center since Ewing, shaq (miami shaq), mourning and some of the big brut PF's like oak, dale davis, malone ect

The have totally got rid of the Center position on the all star ballot for good reason..Howard and Tyson are the only TRUE centers in the league ( maybe Lopez).

Then you have people still saying howards the best big in the game, but who are you comparing him to, kendrick perkins, ibaka.

Ask yourself this question, can you name the centers on every team in this league today, can you even name the the top 10 centers in the league as quick as you can name the top 10 pg.

In the 90's you sure could..

Howard statistically is worse then shaq at the FT line, thats crazy.

ITs why my praise of Bropez as not as outlandish as some might have thought.

Someone (barkley or shaq) said BroPez was better than howard.

He is not even better than mourning and ahead of him was

Hakeem
Shaq
David Robinson
Ewing
Mourning
Sabonis
Sean Kemp
Mutumbo
Smits
Divacs

And who can forget "Bison Dele"!

Howard lakes the offensive talent. He is an athletic freak for sure but lacks so much fundametal skill for his position.

Even on his worst day, I'd take Howard over Broke Lopez.

D'Antoni just doesn't know how to use true centers that can't shoot 3s.

Howard isn't overrated for the position in todays game. But he's not close to the force that guys like Hakeem, Ewing, Shaq, etc. were. But I agree that I'd take Howard over Brrok Lopez any day of the week. Lopez isn't as overrated as I once thought though. Guy has impressed with his shooting touch.

I never said he sucked. I said he is overrated.

If felton's best competition was Tony douglas or duhon, wouldn't felton be considered the best pg in the league

MDA system doesn't require a true center and I respect that.

Not needing a specific position to run a style of offense is one thing.

But trying to make your big men into becoming jumpshooters is just foolish.

yea, I said this before, dwight is an overrated clown, but he can be dominant, that is one thing I give him credit for... but so far, he needs to grow up, he has shown the ability to be the type of player you can build and win around, but as a pro, to be great you have to keep improving and adjusting... I think the lack of true quality bigs have given the impression that dwight is just so great.. I think when healthy bynum is just as good....

To me,The true mark of a superstar is when he improves year to year. I dont know Dwights stats,but when you know that a team is gonna hack you like crazy, you shoot a million foul shots in practice to get your shot right. He is a clown no doubt and went to Hollywood where being a clown is normal. Mark my words, somewhere down the road Kobe is gonna call out Dwights foul shooting.
