Lakers would probably be interested in either landing a stretch 4 or a mobile/athletic PF, and a package of shooters/role players, to run Dantoni's philosophy.
Probably looking for 2 or 3 pieces in return
Obviously the PF is the most important piece they would need, along with a SG/SF with the ability to shoot the wide open 3pt shot, and maybe a PG that could penetrate and hit a wide open shot.
or
if there are any way under the cap teams looking for a skilled Center, that would be able to offer back an exemption like the one we offered Dallas back for Tyson Chandler.
With that exemption, they would be able to sign a player such as Josh Smith in the off season to pair with DH12 and keep him happy with his "BFF"
Toronto
---------
Barngani
Jose Calderon
Kleiza
Bobcats
----------
Byron Mullens, Ben Gordon, Jeffrey Taylor or Gereld Henderson, and Diop*probably waived, just to make the numbers match*
Lakers would have to throw in some lower level salaries but Bobcat's would get to keep Detriot's lottery pick for absorbing Ben Gorden's contract for free.
They lose Mullens but not sure if the Bobcats want to pay a 8m -10m per year to keep him for next year.
Lakers could use Sessions and his ability to penetrate with with Dantoni's system.
They wanted to save money, as they are the highest payroll team, close to 100m payroll.
Think it was a big mistake by not spending the extra couple of bucks especially with the way they are struggling.
Sessions played well prior to Kobe returning last year, without the ball moving, and getting less opportunities with isolation plays for Kobe.
I think NOT resigning Sessions and NOT using their MINI MLE for a shooter like Delfino, instead going a cheaper player like Jodie Meeks at half the price.
Regardless, I don't see how the aging Lakers will be able to defend OKC and the younger/athletic team/players in the West, they will have to score efficiently like Dantoni's Sun's days.
Bucks
----------
Ilyaosva, fillers like Gooden and get rid of his contract, Udrich's or Dalembert
Ilyasova has been playing poorly and if they have doubts about his contract, this would be their chance to unload him.
More importantly unloading Gooden.
Both played great last season but have been far from their that this sesaon, with Gooden without a game this year out with injuries.
Suns
--------
Channing Frye, Jared Dudley, Wesley Johnson?, and an exemption as they are much under the cap.
I guess it would be depend if Frye is going to be able to play this year or anytime soon in NBA shape.
I am surprised Suns did not offer a contract to Mayo if they were willing to offer a max contract to Eric Gordon
New Orleans
--------------
Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon,
I am sure Lakers would love Ryan Anderson but don't see why NO would pull the trade without any draft picks/young players to sweeten the deal.
I am not sure where Gordon's value is at this point, as a MAX player.
Gasol/Anthony Davis is a pairing that would both be able to work, and both capable of playing the HIGH or low post.
I just don't think they would be looking to give up a stretch 4 like Anderson.
Atlanta
----------
Josh Smith, Kyle Korver, and fillers like Anthony Morrow/Deshawn Stevenson
like New Orleans, they would probably want back a pick, but the difference would be Josh Smith probably would not be part of Atlanta's future plans.
Detriot
-----------
Charlie Villenuva, and some fillers like Maggette, Austin Daye, Will Bynum
Utah
----------
Millsap/Marvin Williams and fillers
Gasol would give Utah 1.5 seasons for Kanter/Favors to continue to develop, more importantly unloading Marvin Williams contract.
It would depend if Utah will want to continue to invest in Jefferson as a undersized Center, and if they can get back value in Jefferson/Millsap in potential trades.
Memphis
------------
Zack Randolph, fillers like Wayne Ellington, Selby, Quincy Pondexter
another highly unlikley but it would be interesting to see Gasol brother's playing together.
I am sure Bayless would work well with his ability to penetrate and hit the wide open 3pt but another unlikely scenario, especially with Memphis's early success.
But just had to put this one in there because of their past history and as skilled Centers/brothers in the league.
