Obviously going 11-4 in the first months is very encouraging considering we are missing Stat/shump. In fact we should really be 13-2 the mavs and nets games go away from us. But if we try to limit the losses to maybe 4-5 per month that should be good enought to win the division

The question is - how many wins we need to lose the division... I thing 4 per month will do it...

Bad question. The real question is how many games will the opponents win? Celtics? Less than 50. Brooklyn? No more than low 50s, I would guess. I think if we win 55, we get it for sure. If we win 50, we still might barely win the division.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

The Better Question (no calculator needed for math majors)

If Mike Woodson continued the same winning percentage that he has as NYK Head Coach, for a full season, would anyone be happy?

The even better question. Would anyone be unhappy? If so, not Knicks fans. We've exceeded expectations by a wide margin. By this point of the season, if you had told me 10-6, I would've been ecstatic. 12-4 is almost unfathomable.

Well it's like a 5 month season, so at 4 losses per month you're winning 62 games.

Basically you have a division with 4 strong teams. (N*ts, 76ers, Celts and Knicks) and that makes it hard for any to run away. 60 games is usually the bell weather amount to win your division thats going to be very hard. 55 games should take it.

Before we get ahead of ourselves and all pissy about losses, understand this team will face problems with injuries that will affect our depth.

Its all good so far but this team will fade unless we can utilize our 100mm asset and integrate him.

Its not that I don't believe in the fables, its just what I see. We a good team and beating the teams we supposed and then some. Im not complaining a bit. Im enjoying the ride.

55 wins should win the atlantic.

....Better said with fewer words.

Too much worry about where we finish and Melo's place in MVP voting.

IM trying to figure out why I don't have any tickets for Wednesday game in Charlotte. No, I don't have N*ts tickets either, but this one just crept up on me. I kind of starphuch bummed out Amare is not playing. He is fun to watch live.

Great. We can request a loss-per-month-death-to-the-season clock. Where's that intern?

Some better questions;
1) Do we get a break if the average over a number of months is below the accepted number?
2) Can we apply unused losses to the next month as a buffer?
3) Will one bad month just immediately send us all over to Rockets.com?

how many losses per month is acceptable to win the division
