The smartest guy Knicks got is J.Kidd
*hands down, no other argument needed!

Sure Shump & Amare would have helped Knicks in recent games vs Rockets & NJ Nets.

However J.Kidd fits Knickerbocker needs like a glove, we've not had a PG/SG leader like Kidd since
Guard Derek Harper did the role for Knicks without being teams best player.

Kidd does bunch of things on court for 4 Quarters that don't reflect in boxscore individual tasks.

Kidd is a pest on steals, gets key rebound, gets a key freethrows & can now be respected from perimeter for 2's or 3' pt shots

Kidd is only guy on Knicks squad whose boxscores stats can be bad & he CAN STILL LEAD Knicks to a win.

Tired of hearing on age,
No one on our club not coaching from Woodson, not superstar Melo Anthony, Not a revived Raymond Felton,
not Amare Stoudemire can fill in ALL THE GAPS & Deficiencies of Knickerbocker blunders that J.Kidd offers in his full game,

Disappointed we may not have J.Kidd for few games but he's the MVP of Knicks fortunes,
premature assessment from me but I'll stick with it!

Forgot to add
J.Kidd will politely, privately in timeouts or locker room 1/2time
get up few of these guys ass_sses' (No not Mark Sanchez)

Leadership is telling peeps what to do in game situations.

We'll need that all year round.

Great role player, leader. Directs the offense as a second pg. I think he's pretty key for us but I'll still take Stat or Shump over him probably. Shump's harassing D has been missed and Kidd's lost a big step. We need someone like Stat to generate some more offense. Kidd is a fantastic role player, but we could use another offensive initiator.

I have to agree...Kidd more than anyone on this team is the most important player.

Not for his numbers or stats, but for his leadership and intangibles...our coach on the floor and lockerroom.

His presence alone was missed clearly. He puts everyone in line. Felton missed him the most...looked so undisciplined running the team.

Kidd (and to a lesser extent, Sheed) was exactly what the Knicks needed this year... last year it was Chandler. This is the exact opposite of an Isiah Thomas roster

kidd is the kind of franchise player/ leader this team sorely needs... but he is just way past his prime, but still the MVP of the knicks... I wish we had him in his early 30's..

Kid can mow the lawn, do the taxes, cook Thai, and mixology skills aside is the life of the party!

He is here cuz he old and decided its better to be a reserve in NYC than on Mav's team in transition.

YOu get back spasms with the oldness.

Tired of hearing about age?

Why? He is good for 15-18 min a game and has a bad back at times.

Thats the age thing.

Live with it.

And don't forget, it's the opposite of our old coach's roster too.

Note that Kidd and Tyson are now both in the top four in the NBA in Win Shares per 48 min.

Tyson's defense has been inconsistent but he's the most efficient scorer in the league. And it's not like he's only taking 2 shots a game. He's actually averaging 15 points per 36 min.

Now if he can get his rebounding up he will be super Tyson. SO far only avg 4.8 defensive boards. That sucks. In the nets game I think he had 3 maybe 4. I said it before the turn around Tyson is like most big men, they need touches offensively to keep them energized.

It's strange. His offensive rebounding is outstanding but his defensive rebounding is awful.

It's not that strange really. Most of his offensive rebounds come when no one is around him. He has trouble when he has to battle to get a rebound.

Well if it were that simple, every center would get four offensive rebounds per game.

This is the type of thread you get when fans try to outsmart themselves and deviate from the obvious. Kidd is a much needed and welcome piece to the puzzle but he is not the MVP of this team.

I am intrigued by this STOUT fellow. Is Oliver Miller getting back into the league?
"I can not say all the secrets."
Not Melo, not Stout but Jason Kidd healthy is easily MVP of 2012/13 NY Knickerbockers period !
