defense still looks awful. Guys are penetrating right by our guards we are leaving guys wide open. I mean we didnt do that teh first 6 games. hav we run out of gas already?

Our defense has really tanked since the first 6 games. Through the first 6, maybe a little more, we were ranked first in defensive rating on basketball-reference.com. Today, we're ranked 16th.

Without effort nothing good will happen. As I mentioned in the post you quoted, its a big part of why we were able to overcome our deficiencies on both ends of the court. If they iso too much then they should throw them the occasional double team. We had the best defense in the league until recently, iso or no iso.

Maybe the age is a bigger concern than i thought. Quicker teams are torching us

maybe the league just got a scouting report. old = slow = can't keep quicker players in front of us and also = too slow to help and RECOVER to scramble back to your original assignment when old slow defenders get beat
