NYPOST: Jeremy Lin says he has no regrets about the Knicks’ decision not to match his $25.1 million offer sheet in July, indicating it was “God’s plan’’ for him to be Houston-bound.

“The biggest thing is I enjoyed playing for the fans,’’ the struggling Lin said after yesterday’s practice as he prepared to face the Knicks for the first time tonight at Toyota Center. “I had a lot of peace about it right when it happened. I know God has a perfect plan. And he’s shown that in my life. It didn’t shake out the way everybody thought it would, but I’m still very at peace with how everything happened. I’m in a great situation right now.’’

Linsanity is dead

Long live Winsanity

Beat Houston for all the non-calls Melo got on Wednesday night in Dallas.

Watch Raymond Felton continue to make Tyson Chandler better.

Is it Gods plan that Sheed should start?

Bottom line, Raymond Felton is too strong for Jeremy Lin to defend.

No one is talking about Jason Kidd on James Harden. That is a shame because that is the key to the game.

If Kidd has problems staying in front of Harden, expect the bullpen phone to ring early for JR Smith.

Great quote, he got it right. Wish fans would stop also.

If he does anything newsworthy its worth discussion.

Shame he doesn't have any free will- I enjoy making my own decisions and accepting responsibility for my own actions, mus be weird having god decide everything for you and sort out your finances and stuff- most people have to hire an agent to do that kind of stuff.

I enjoyed Linsanity but have grown weary of Lin's whining in the media since he signed "that ridiculous contract". Hope Felton outplays him and we get the win. It's an important game for Felton even though he won't say so in interviews- he's been playing good for us so it would be nice to see him close the book on his predecessor.

Still, I wouldn't be surprised to see Lin have a big game (TD too)- he always played better when he was being ****y and was fired up. Annoyingly I can't watch this game til late tomorrow due to travelling & work- hope I can resist peaking at the score before I watch it!

This game and the one in NY will bring closure to the whole Lin thing (especially if we win both), regardless of what your stance on the whole issue was. I don't expect to read much about Lin on these boards after December.

I hope Lin goes off tonite and gets hot.

Like to see him drop 30 on the knicks despite good defense against him.

Felton also drop 30 in a great duel!

End result: Knicks win by 10!

Everyone walks away with their heads up!

Jeremy who? Ray - go do your thing. Not even one of the keys to the win tonight. Stop Harden!

Yeah, I thought the same thing about Gallo, but apparently the half-life of ex-Knicks is about 3-4 years. Give or take.

Try looking for DLee threads or NateR threads. You see? It can take awhile.

Any mildly extended Knick losing will extend Lin's potency as well.

Lin talk has been dead since about 5 games into the season. He has been awful. The only arguments left are in the details as no one really knows what happened but accepted their own opinions as facts

Lin's new superagency from D.C. steered him out of NYC. By miscalculating. Didn't see Felton as alternative. Lin wanted to stay. Believe it.

The way Lin has been shooting, he would be fortunate to "drop" 10 points. The first time Felton runs Lin into a pick from Sheed or Ronnie Brewer, it will not be pretty. Hope the Rockets have a good "cut man."

Sometimes, what happens on the court takes precedent over what happens in the conference room.

I have a collegue who works at Willams & Connally. They overplayed their had from the negotiation angle with Dolan, and totally lost sight of the priority/ (responsibility to potential advertisers) to keep Lin in New York market.

Linsanity is dead.

Long live Winsanity.

Last few games Lin has been benched in the 4th. Kind of like the way David Lee was in NY before he left.

Looking forward to this game if only to show how well the Knicks are doing since deciding to go in another direction. In the end that's all that matters.

Who's to say it wasn't God's will for him to move on, I mean the kid was sleeping on his cousins sofa or something while in NY making chump change. The guy is financially blessed beyond his wildest dreams from a sport(game) he loves to play.

IMHO it has nothing to do with basketball, but all to do with his new found finances

Forgot Lin was even in the league this year, he's that bad. I think Toney Douglass might have a surprise game in store for us.

Hmm, so it seems we've narrowed it down to either god or Lin's agent- Apparantly Lin played no part, he is an innocent victim. For f***s sake why can't he just accept responsibility for his own damn actions?!
