there is no way in hll that the LA lakers are going to trade a top 5 player for an aging, regressing injury problem player. I wouldnt take H2O and his 20mm per year unless he was in the last year of his contract and I had a lot of crp i wanted to unload. H2O is as close to untradeable in the near term as any player in the league. If I were an nba team i wouldnt trade a 2nd round draft pick for h2O even if i had all the extra cap space to fit him in. If we offered the charlotte bobcats 2 first round and 2 second round picks[which we dont have] they would laugh in our face. H2O is going to be a Knick up until atleast the mid way point of his 2nd to last year at a minimum. What the Knicks may have to do is relegate H2O to 6th man status when IF he returns this year or next. Even if he heals well over the summer, how can you rely on him any more?

He needs to take a Reggie Miller role. Less minutes, smaller role.. I dont think he needs to play off the bench per say, but he should be a 28-32 minutes a night player for the next 3 years. Not a 40 minutes guy.
