Grizz are tough. They go 10 deep and bring lots of hussle.

Hubbie at the Garden on the bench. Gotta love it.

We're in the stretch run, so every game is a must-win situation. Someone is gonna have to step up as well as someone (Allan most likely) will have to come back to get us in a winnable situation this game.

GO KNICKS!!!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I don't like our chances. Hopefully Houston and Penny can play and Demarr plays more than Shandon.

winning streak at home aside, I don't like the Knicks chance against the Grizz. They are just too good and the Knicks don't have heart these days.

we have really won 8 straight at home? This is a tough one... all our best scorers are out or banged up and Mem plays great defense. They are deeper and more athletic, and we have no answer for guarding Gasol in the post. This will be a tough one. What we need is more of the same.. bench guys to come in and step up.

I picked them to win but I alway do :)

Thats why I would never bet on my own team

Whats up Hardcore? Where you been?

I picked the Knicks to win, as I have so many times since the trades wnet down. I think they can pull it off...we will make the playoffs - I just dont want to see the Pistons in rd#1 because they are going to beat anyone not named Sacramento, LA or San Antonio.

If we're gonna make it to the 5th seed we need to beat the bad teams and teams like Memphis, portland, cleveland, & Nets. And We can afford to lose to teams like Detroit and Indiana.

I know it's dreamy but if they go 9-2 the last 11 games we'll definitely have the 4th seed locked. 9-2 isn't alot to ask for a playoff team right?

Griz are tough, deep, athletic, well-coached ... like everyone's saying. But this will be 2nd of B-to-B for them, we're at home, and arguably the game means more to us than them. I think we have a good shot. This is the kind of game that can build the chemistry we've been looking for. Come in undermanned against a tough team and pull together and play your best. I'm looking for a good effort from our heroes. Don't know if it will be enough, but I'd be surprised and disappointed if we didn't play well.

we're hurt, we don't play defense, and now penny's banged up. we are looking at a pretty big loss on wednesday. things don't look too good for us after that either:

memphis - L
toronto - W
@detroit - L
portland - W
@nj - W
@philly - L (pick 'em)
@indiana - L
chicago - W
@wash - W
@new orleans - L
cleveland - W

we're looking at 5-6 or 6-5 the rest of the way.
trying to get better than an 8th seed is going to WAY tough.

Don't know if it was posted already, but Houston could be out for the rest of the regular season.

in other words: "Would'nt be too bad to see NY lose this one when there are only a handful of games left and we are in the thick of a playoff race..."

Man.. is it me or some fans just don't really sounds like Knick fans on here sometimes...

hey man , im a basketball fan--i enjoy watching good ball like what the grizz have. i dont care if they wear a knick jersey ,ugly ball is ugly ball. this isnt 20 years ago when the same players stuck around,everyone is just a pawn now and i dont intend to get excited or root for shandon anderson kurt thomas or dikeme mutumbo when they are wearing another uniform. jayson williams himself is more fun to watch then this knick team

he's played through pain many times before. He was always hurt during the playoffs and played throw it and did alright. But now at 32, he simply can't do it anymore. He has to rest the knee as much as he can and come back with about 4-5 games remaining in the regular season. I thought he came back too early. He should've sat out the whole month of March. We don't need him now but we will definitely need him for the playoff stretch.

Maybe this injury to Houston will help the Knicks in the longrun. We'll lose a couple more games and remain as the 7th seed and face (w/ a rested Allan Houston) an injury-hit Nets team in the playoffs.

i can't believe you posted that comment, mase. i, like other knicks fans, am a knick fan FIRST, then a basketball fan second. hey, i like to watch denver and sacremento but if they beat the knicks i would still get disappointed. no matter what team plays the knicks i want the knicks to succeed and not to lose. any loss is bad concerning my team. that is a true knicks fan. you don't realize that if we lose tonight it would be devastating to our team? every game counts now. so a knicks loss WOULD be bad to a real fan.
