I love Tyson's as a player but he needs to step it up. This is not about the 1st loss of the season and its time to attack Knick players. Unfortunately his poor play has been a trend in the early season.


He seems to get away with poor play by fans and escape criticism time after time. Yes he is known for being a good leader and a great defender but this year he has not shown up for a full game yet. He is letting a undersized pf beat him in rebounds for the team lead. Now he is not playing good D and not keeping his man off the glass. It is bad enough he doesn't get many boards but at least he can do is keep his man away from getting the reb. On top of his poor defense he is struggling to finish and continuously fumbles good passes. It's great to make halftime speeches its better to lead by example. How long does the flu last because he has not been the same since the Mia series.

i love tyson but he is not close to what he was last year and neither is novak. we need both these guys to step up again

Wouldn't go that far at all. BUT...he's been horrible. Even detrimental. You saw that Woody might feel the same when he left him in with 4 fouls. He's been useless except on alley-oops. He's not even setting good screens. I think his effort is leaving a lot to be desired.

He has been horrible. So many second string guys go off against him. There isn't a profile for that guy either. Some are small and undersized, some are big and quick, and some are big and slow.

Tyson is worrying me he appears sluggish, Tiago Splitter was giving him the business last night and tonight he wasn't even trying to box out Randolph and was getting outhustled .

All he does is alley oops and he blows those too.

In a strange way Tyson excels when the team excels defensively..Im not sure who is off on the alley oops Felton throws him..I know he has bad hands but if the ball is in the vicinity he show get those..Frustrating watching him sometimes..He needs to pick it up..

He needs to make rebounding his top priority instead of alley oops.

Didn't have a single rebound in the first half.

Flu Tyson is a good name, I don't know what's up with him or why Camby is still recovering. To think the anchor is off his game, we can't even get the backup on the court and we still have been this good defensively.

Tyson's ineptness and Camby's 'calf' injury have made Sheed a very important part of the team.

Tyson has overall played like doo-doo, but i think he'll bounce back.

Can't ride this flu thing much longer though, we need him to play like he did last season.
