Raymond Felton is averaging 14.0 points and 6.4 assists so far. He's led the Knicks to a 5-0 record. And he's not even in the discussion:

Ian Thomsen of SI.com writes:

Consider the deep list of upper-tier point guards that Holiday hopes to join someday (the ranking is mine and it's always changing):

1. Rajon Rondo
2. Chris Paul
3. Tony Parker
4. Russell Westbrook
5. Deron Williams
6. Steve Nash
7. Jason Kidd
8. Andre Miller

Honorable mention: Derrick Rose (injured)
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/writers/ian_thomsen/11/15/jrue-holiday-philadelphia-76ers-andrew-bynum/index.html

Even with a reduced role, Kidd is at #7. If Felton improves his numbers (and the Knicks keep winning), he should be in the top 10, at least.

If felton improves his fg% by hitting midrange shots, efficient shots, for the 1st time in his career he will make that list. Until then he is a career 41% shooter for a reason. He also has to work on his pg vision, seeing the entire floor and making better passes. I think back to how much he was hated in Denver as a floor leader and the team and its fans couldn't wait to get rid of him.

Notice everyone on that list are efficient shooters. It makes a world of difference when you are a pg. You need to shoot the ball 23 times. 12 efficient shots does the trick. Do that and defenses won't play off you and it will open the floor for your scorers. You won't be duped into shooting 9 for 23 again

I've always loved Felton dating back to his first run here in N.Y. Amar'e Stoudemire simply feasted with Felton running our offense. With Felton pushing the rock, Stoudemire then went on to set a Knicks franchise record for consecutive games of 30+ points. Some fans forget, but Felton averaged 17.1 points and 9 assists per game with our Knicks back in only 2010-2011. He's also one of our only players in which looks to work Tyson Chandler into our offense ala working with Chandler off the pick and roll, coming off screen set by Tyson, looking to feed Chandler down low with lob's at the rim etc, etc. Once Stoudemire returns, Felton can really thrive with an athletic BIG such as Amar'e.

Felton wasn't getting full respect the last time he was in NY and now it seems it's happening again. I don't care. As long as we keep winning he'll eventually get his due. I'm so happy for Felton and happy he's back where he belongs.

I loved Felton's first stint I'm just shocked he's doing it again. Hated that he was in the trade but I thought he was another product of Dantoni. Always liked that he takes pride in being a Knick. He is def on a mission

He was the one guy I really hated to lose in that trade. Sooooo glad to have him back. Love PG's that attack the rim....He is the quintessential NYPG.

Felton has been playing solid so far. I'd like to see him play, oh, 5 fewer minutes--he's more efficient fresh, the Knicks have other solid guards, and sometimes mismatches in style reduce Felton's efficiency. (And I say that with Felton among my favorite Knick PGs, well, top 10 maybe.)

He shouldn't be in the discussion. He played his first legitimately good game tonight and going 6-0 to start the season doesn't erase the rest of his 8 year career.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come
