Media won't let this "I called for a foul but then called it off" thing go away.

Lenny getting a "can't communicate with his players" label now.

NYC is a tough place to coach.

I was not happy with Lenny being named coach, nor the BS that Isiah installed with his Letterman thing, but the fact remains Lenny is not a BAD coach, and brings a lot to the team.

The team is hurt, and I am sure both Isiah and Lenny are frustrated by the lack of passion on the floor. I think they are tired and playing hurt. With 5 of last 7 on the road, the towel might have to get thrown in, and we have to live with a lotto pick wasted.

It would be a huge dissapointment if after all the nice changes made, we still can't crack the playoffs with this roster. I expected at least that this year, and more next.

In short, Lenny being over criticized and team is hurt.

Lenny should just end this discussion....he is letting it get out of control and doing a bad job of putting it to rest. It could be very simple.

All he has to say is....I called for a foul, the team didn't hear it, next question.

The flip-flopping is silly.

Marbury had some words with referee Ed Malloy, and one play later, Shandon Anderson committed a mindless foul near midcourt with only 1.8 seconds left, sending Terry to the line.

But Marbury wasn't done talking. He was tagged with a technical foul as the teams lined up for the free throws, and Lenny Wilkens immediately pulled him from the game.

As Marbury walked past his coach on his way to the bench, he shouted at Wilkens, "I'm the only one saying stuff out here" -- a sign that he would have preferred the coach to speak up for him rather than having to do it himself.

Oh man, If lenny not up to task then we got to get all over Isiah about it.

Then they be calling for his head, and I gotta defend him then, Cuz im all about the underdog. Hence the real reason I liked Laydog, cuz he was bambi in the headlights, and I wanted him to "snap out of it".

Lenny is cool dude, but he's Isiahs dog now.

Marbury can be a prick, but I got to go with him on this one. Shame if they stop playing for Lenny so fast. At this point Im not seeing the upgrade from Gone Chaney!

IN fact, record wise, Im not seeing any improvement in record from last year. Im only seeing East teams sucking more, and we elevated.

I know, Eisley, Fatspoon and Knight are all gone, and we injured, tired, and got many new faces.

Sure the future looks brighter than last year, but I can vent some also!
