After another 3-Day break, we start a run of 12 games in 20 days against the Orlando Magic (2-4).

Let's keep the undefeated streak going, and serve the Magic up something special while we continue to put the NBA on notice.

GO KNICKS!

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Knicks need to get down and not have a letdown. Don't look ahead, worry about the Spurs on Thursday.

Hey guys! New to boards here but have been following this one(and many others) for years now and decided to make an account once I got power back.

Anyway, the Knicks need this win because I just cant see them beating both Memphis and San Antonio back to back.

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

I was never able to figure out a plausible rational for having beautiful twenty something year olds dancing around the court during a basketball game...I mean, don't get me wrong, I love it, absolutely...But what's does a stunningly athletic young lady bursting through her cloths have to do with the game...Again, I'm for it, just saying...Keep it coming tho...My smile is bigger than her's...

Going for our second road victory here in the early season. If we could handle the 76ers on the road in Philly (by 22 points), we should truthfully have our way with Orlando. This Magic team may be 2-4, they may have lost Dwight Howard and Ryan Anders during the offseason; but this team can still shoot the ball light's out when hott. With all that said, I'm expecting an 18+ point victory tonight. Just too talented, too strong, too deep of a team for Orlando to compete with. By the 3rd quarter, we should begin to break these guys down.

There are no guarantees. It does not matter if we win by 20 or win a nail biter at the buzzer in OT.

Just win baby

Welcome to the boards.

These are the games that will really convince me this team has turned the corner - the should win games. Nasty habit in the past of coming out with a lackluster effort, and either letting the subpar team hang in far too long, or even getting blown out. This Magic team is depleted. Put them to bed early. We were one of the Bobcats 7 wins last season - and just escaped from another one by a few points.

Matt4281 - you raise an excellent point about team character and poise. Mike Woodson wants to create a personality that brings consistent effort, home and on the road. If the defensive effort is there - as it has been taught - it would seem that poise will come into play more on the offensive end. This is where Jason Kidd starts paying dividends and Raymond Felton gets to display his trademark pugnaciousness.

Keep the turnovers down and hit the open man. The rest is up to our supporting cast like JR, Novak and possibly Sheed. Ronnie Brewer's contributions on the offensive end are huge. Dude has a 6'11 wingspan and has put on a few pounds to roll at 227-230 pounds. Cool. A modest 10/10 double double would be extra sweet.

We must protect this rock.

They average an NBA low of 87 PPG after 6 games, and they can no longer rebound the basketball.

This is something the Knicks MUST capitalize on.

It's a blowout for us if we defend them while outshooting them.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I understand and agree with what you stated above, 100%. Any true contending team, must mentally prepare themselves when going up against 'lesser teams'. Especially with an elite opponent on deck (Spurs).

I don't believe this team will allow a letdown and/or trap game to happen. Heading into our 3rd game of the season (Philly on the road), Carmelo made it known and actually stated that this Knicks isn't even thinking about a trap game (heading into the Mavs matchup). He made it known that our team is too hungry, and too focused on winning, to allow something like that to happen.

Although I disagree with you in regards to the Bobcats. Our franchise was one of their 7 wins last season, but not our team. This is a completely different team. What happened during past seasons (especially last year) means zero moving forward. That loss happened during the 6th game of the season. Woodson has since replaced D'Antoni. Toney Douglas, a rookie Shumpert and Mike Bibby were our PG's. This team now features Felton, Kidd and Pablo. Steve Novak received zero minutes. J.R Smith was in China. Ronnie Brewer has since replaced Landry Fields at the 2G. Balkman has been replaced by Steve Novak. Guys such as Camby, Kurt Thomas and Rasheed Wallace, true NBA veterans, have replaced Josh Harrellson in regards to that Bobcats loss. This is now Melo's team, a top 5 NBA player; which wasn't the case last year. We now know Melo holds the keys to this car.

You can go on and on in regards this Knicks team when compared to previous one's. You can't even consider this as being the 'same team'. Complete opposites. That team allowed 118 points to the Bobcats. Just not the same team. So, when fans speak of the Knicks and their previous letdown games and/or trap games? Means absolutely nothing in regards to our Knicks of 2012-2013.

I finally get to see another game on TV versus the computer. Its the Magic's broadcasters but they are pretty good and usually always fair.

Yea, I'm from Queens and have been here in St.Pete (FLorida) for a while now. I know the feeling. NBA League pass is a must man. Perfect quality. No lag. Just like watching a Knicks game on TNT. I've enjoyed the NBA League Pass for going on 3 years. I also enjoy listening to opposing play-by-play annoucers. Just something different when compared to our N.Y announcers. All opposing announcers have gave our Knicks plenty of credit thus far throughout our first 4 games.

It's $160 for the entie year. I'm doing 4 monthly payments of only $40 each. Well worth each and every penny.
