We need the guys who throws it down hard...We need Amare and Shumpert...Melo has been short of amazing..I say short because he has to stop taking those quick ill advised threes from beyond..That's the only issue I have with his game..But man, this guy can get two points when he wants it, anytime, AND one...If that sneaker/clothing line wants to revive it's name, hire Melo as it's pitch man...We are still playing a good collective defense... Dallas was averaging 108 pts per coming in and we held them to 94...We struggled early in an ugly game..Melo got into foul trouble..We looked a little vulnerable going into the half but thanks to JR we got it within 2 points...JR is playing consistent ball guys..Keep an eye on this...We are dialing up the long ball but we need the hammer down low..We need the guys who throw it down hard..Felton is doing a great job getting into the lane and dishing..Felton is losing it in the third and fourth qts..I think this is conditioning..He is just balling in the first half getting his teammates involved and good looks..But third qt and beyond his shots/fts are way off...Has to be the conditioning, no?...Give this cat another month to get it all there...I love bulldog Felt..

We need Shrump and Amare..Our interior game is lacking..We need guys to put pressure on opposing team's front line...Guys who do their work around the basket could complete this team..Melo can get there at will but this is an 82 game season...We have to save him...We need the pieces to come together...We don't need players burnt out into the playoffs...These guys can round off this team...Also they add younger legs that seems to be a bit slow with the second unit...And speaking about slow, I'll really not sold on Prig's game...He seems to be stuck in first gear while the game is being played in fourth gear...I love Kidd at the two but we may have to get him back at PG when our roster is healthy...I love the way we look right now but we need balance...We could scare some folks..Get healthy guys..Go Knicks!!!

I actuallly have no problem with him taking a quick open three. I have a problem with him rushing that three. When he sets his feet and shoots he is more accurate. His shot and release is quick enough he shouldn't try to rush it. Its the same thing with Novak. When he tries to get his shot off quick;y he usually misses but when he shoots in his regular rhythm he is lights out.

I wouldn't call Shump a thumper until he shows improvement on the offensive end. Maybe he will. I do agree that Amare will be needed. I like the little strecth of Melo, Wallace, and Camby on the floor. Once the bigs get in shape having rasheed able to play inside and out will give Melo more rest at the 4.
