Wow. Fields and Douglas are not only bad, but historically bad so far this season. They do not look like they belong in the NBA. Did MDA's system make them look at least decent, or did they just get worse each year? But i know everyone here knows no one misses Fields, my question is, how can we ever blame Anthony and Stoudemire for not coexisting and going 8-15 early in the season when this was our starting backcourt? It was probably the worst backcourt in the league, we just didn't know it yet. I for one was dead wrong, i thought they were better than they are. I thought it might work for the short term at least. Then add Bibby and Walker into the equation who aren't even NBA players anymore. It's just nuts to think about now. Felton, Kidd, JR Smith, Brewer, even Prigioni. We have come a long way.

Pretty much everyone was saying we need a PG and SG and boy did we. Now that we have improved in those areas it's painfully obvious just how bad we were at those spots. I can't wait to see how this team plays when everyone gets back. Shump and STAT are upgrades overall and I think this team will be a legit contender with everyone healthy. but yeah TD and Fields was about as bad as you could get for a starting backcourt.

We probably had the worst PG rotation not only among all teams last year but actually in the whole league in a long time (with the exception of the stretch when Lin played).

Douglas was benched for Mike Bibby enough said. You can also throw shump in there to because some coach thought he was a pg.

That Fields signing looks pretty bad for Colangelo. The Raps are lucky they got Lowry but Fields as their glue guy is just not working.
