Gunshot to the head.

I agree- I imagine a gunshot to the head would be quite painful, and could have a detrimental impact to your health.

As for Lin and Felton, both are in the right places right now. 3 years down the line the decision hurts us, but you know a lot can happen in three years.

To answer the question honestly, Felton is better right now and for the next 3-4 years, but Lin has more upside.

Lin
13pts 7ass 5.5rbs 3.3stls 3.0to's 36%

Felton
13.7pts 6ass 3rbs 1.7stls 3.0tos 44%

Can you really say Felton is the better player with a much stronger team surrounding him. Felton was a great signing, but would have been good to have them both here with kid. More than enough minutes to go around with talend.

Lin is very lucky Houston got Harden. Takes a lot of pressure off of him.

Gunshot to the head.

Depends on who's pointing the gun. With Mr. HOF PG WE LET GET AWAY, you could feel slightly more safe than if Ray was taking the shot.

It is really tough to just look at Stats. If we look at their actual play, I think what stands out most is that Lin is just a smarter player. At the end of a game, you just get the feeling that Lin's IQ trumps Feltons ( and as I've said before I really like Felton). They are both very good PG's. I loved Lin but I do wonder if Felton fits this team better - it is just too early to say though, to be fair.

The thing that hits me is, If you want to go all out and win the championship, which team is better, us with Felton or Lin? No regard to money, same roster otherwise, after all it is Dolans money. Even with our great play and record, I just can't say Felton is that guy. When it comes down to crunch time I take Lins ability to score over Feltons - not close. I take Lin's defense over Feltons - closer but Lin has better and fast hands. Though Felton is the more rugged defender, Lin is just faster and smarter. I take Lin's passing over Feltons - not close. Lin is just slightly better to noticeably better in most areas I can think of than Felton. BUT again, and to be fair, it is hard to say who is really better for THIS team, but my gut tells my Lin.

We can't really compare their stats head on though, it isn't fair to either player. You can argue Lin has more "power" to score on his current team or that Felton has more to work with.

I never really said that, did I?

Honestly what inspired this thread was someone said in another thread that Hollinger > everyone because he has numbers to back up his claims. Right now Lin is at 15 PER and Felton is a 17. You're right, I think Felton is better but I never said that or was implying that. I was curious to see what people think

I think Lin is the better scorer, rebounds great, and gets stls. I wished he would have stayed but I like the low TOs the knicks are having.
