Hey what's happening? I'm new, my name is Will. I'm a big time fan of basketball and I became a Knicks fan a few years ago when I moved to the area.

Looks like a good season so far, the best start in many years.

I'm optimistic and I'm happy to be here.

Welcome, Iron. Glad to have a happy person join.

Please join one of three lines:

1) Knick fans who are happy to be Knick fans, despite
a) Dolan
b) Melo
c) the concept of "starphucquing" a team in general, and all that that implies (you'll catch on soon)
d) age being more than a number
e) MDA being unemployed
f) Jeremy Lin being employed by some other franchise
g) the lack of a chip in 40 years

2) Knick fans who are unhappy and volatile due to any and all combination of the above issues.

3) Knick fans who don't honestly care about either 1 or 2's problems and concerns.

Welcome. This is a great place to talk Knicks and ball in general. Be sure to check out slick sports under other stuff. Then a feed is almost as fast as twitter.

Welcome to the forum. I'm James, a grumpy disappointed Knicks fan since 36 years ago. In case you don't know, I despise Jimmy Dolan and won't mind if he falls into the subway sewers and crack his neck. Hopefully you will stay a Knicks fan and not jump over to the Nets... :D

...and hopefully your stay here will not also result in the need for Paxil due to the burgeoning onset of Melodramahatepsychosis.

Keep focusing on these happy thoughts:

1) Stat WILL coexist happily with Melo. Here, with this franchise.
2) Shump is the homegrown star of the future who will stay here, with this franchise.
3) Lin will have a nice, middle of the road career that nobody (including Rockets fans) will remember in 10 years.
4) Jorts will return in 2014.

Welcome aboard Will. Our ship recently have changed course and the crew seems thrilled. After a mutiny, that might OR might not have happened. The previous Captain walked the plank, along with certain others, as you would imagine. We have also had a few of our own go down in battle, now we wait for their return. We have won some battles and lost few since then.
Most importantly, we have discovered our fighting style. Our course is set on the ultimate bounty and we will sink a few opponents along the way. Welcome, mate.
