The Russian comes out and predicts playoffs and then they collapse in the 4th quarter tonight! They
were a putrid team last year and have not improved enough to make the playoffs. Nyet!

I think the funniest thing is when the knicks were at their worst, what team does those star purchases look more like our team or the Nyets?? They maybe a Notch or two better, but similar players nonetheless.

LMAO @ The Nyets losing a 22 point lead in a 32-10 4th quarter to the Love-less T-Wolves. They lost by double digits, too.

...and we just WON by 22. Oh, the irony.

As much as I wanted the Knicks to serve the Nyets their inaugural Loss at the BarcLays Center last week, I am still amused at all the little Nets fans on Facebook starting to panic. That was only the first of MANY losses for those bums. Nuck the Fets.

My Nets fan friend was conveniently away from his phone after both games were done. I'll be texting a few headlines to him, though.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Just tough to watch the Knicks clobber three teams, one a division rival and the other the defending champs and see a "whoop de dam do" post on a Knicks fan board.

haha, Crow-just as likely as any other meat at White Castles.

Seriously, it only got worse for them. Heard Hump and 2others are questionable for their next game. Until Brook Lopez MANS up (same with Amare when he returns) and start playing good defense and rebounding like a big man, they will go nowhere. Their defense is almost nonexistent in the back court and besides Gerald Wallace, there isn't another good in their starting lineup.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

The hype is about pro sports in Brooklyn more than the team being true contenders. Most pundits had them at about 47 to 49 wins. Other than the owner saying they have championship aspirations I did not hear any real hype from them.

With so many new faces on that team they have to find their identity. Losing a 22 pt lead means they got over confident and will get chewed out. All teams have to go thru the pains of growing. I think intensity does not happen right away.

I'd have to almost say at this level the knicks would have beaten them opening nite putting them at 4-0!

Im not concerned with how good or bad the Nets are, just that the knicks take care of their own!

This is all hilarious because Joe Johnson, Kris Humphries and D Will all said that the Nets are "definitely" the better team (vs. Knicks). Then you add the silly owner calling the Knicks the second team in the city. You add in Avery Johnson saying that when the Knicks play the Nets in Brooklyn, 95% of the fans will be for the Nets. Really? Then there's Chris Webber, Stephen A Smith, Charles Barkley (and another ESPN analyst, I forget his name) saying the Nets are the better team. This I gotta see *grabs popcorn*

Oh, have I been dropping bombs on my Nets fan friend of mine. He said that the Knicks win streak is a fluke, but doesn't want to explore that L last night or their game with Miami tomorrow.
