If they play like this for another 5weeks not sure you can bring Amar'e into the fold. Our style of play is extremely perimeter heavy. Our D is consistently there. This may be the year I'm finally proven wrong and I ain't mad at it. We've controlled 3gms thus far the season begins IMO road game against the Spurs.

MAN IT FEELS GOOD TO BE BACK ON TOP OF THE S DIVISION!!! This team is doing exactly what we all wanted to see them do. Just plain dominant on D and smart on O. Just beautiful basketball. I'm so proud of how this team has come out of the gate determined. Woody has these guys FOCUSED!!!

The Knicks have held all opponents to under 90. Its great to have a defensive team in NY again.
I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

Player of the game for me is Ronnie Brewer:

13 points, 10 rebounds on 5-8 shooting and Stupid/Crazy defense - LOVE THIS GUY!

Great call MKS. Ronnie Brewer is a fantastic pickup. He does a bit of everything and he does it well. The outside shot is a bonus.

Are we having fun yet?

This is exactly the team I envisioned when they made all the moves for the veterans in the offseason and btw all you people who were upset the Knicks let Landry Fields go , he is averaging 2.3 ppg shooting 21 percent from the field
No layups!

LoL, this is nonsense. Amar'e will only help the team and looked great in the one pre-season game the team played. Maybe he should come off the bench for a week or two but stating Amar'e is not needed is basically absurd.

I ****ng hate Breen --->

oops another 'old school' very white (sorry fellow white people) announcer calling the game...jr smith = thug of course

breen is also outdated

White has nothing to do with it. Clyde sucks also.

to me, what's 'white' is how quick he was to go to the idea that jr was the villan, without even seeing the evidence. black people can do this as well, but it's more likely a 'white' behavior, i would think. does clyde do that anyway? and clyde does stink at knowing all of the newest trends in the nba, but he knows the game. he's a basketball player, not a guy with a 'great' (read: tv baseball announcer) voice that was never connected to the sport. jeff van gundy doesn't say ish like this. breen? he's a ref, with a 'great' voice. not quite as bad as the sixers play by play guy, but hmmm...

i miss marvelous...

Can't argue with any of that..

I hear you bro. Marv & John Andreise were the best!

When Chris Copeland stepped out and drained a three, it made Debbie Downer wonder... "why mess up a good thing?" We already have Marcus Camby cheering on the bench, who may see action by Friday.

Amare and Shump must also be thinking, "gee, it looks like the fellas are having fun..."

Of course, it is a long season... and we KNOW this high cannot continue... but Woodson's rotations and distribution of minutes are looking like a work of art.

I think we have a smart coaching staff unlike the last one that will know the best interest of the team concerning Amare. I honestly dont' think he will hurt the team. Look at Novak when he is on the court. He is a horrible defender but with team defense it's hidden. We will be fine with or without Amare. People forget also Amare did get defensive tips from Hakeem as well. He didn't only go for post moves.

Good point - lets leave it to Coach Woody - I am starting to get really impressed by him. He will do the right thing - he has sor far.
