I actually think the Knicks will win. Heat haven't really faced a challenge in a while. Not from a team that is built with mentally tough vets and guys that have won in this league and don't have a fear of the Heat. I think the Heat are bullies and if you punch them in the nose they'll be knocked off their game. The Knicks are capable of making it tough for the Heat to score against a set defense and if they take care of the ball on offense it takes away a lot of the Heat's fast break offense. That's how the Heat really beat teams is with their ability to get out on the break. You've got to force them into a grind it out game.

Didn't the Heat open against the Celtics?

Either way, I think the Knicks will win because **** Miami!

I just want to see Kurt Thomas put Lebron on his ass hard one time, with real pain, not that flop shyt.

That's worth the price of admission..

I want to see them crushed beneath our might! Not sure if it'll happen though. A win would be sweet though, put the chaos and bad news of the preseason behind us- let's go Knicks!

The Celtics D is a SHADOW of what it once was. They don't really have the same mental attitude as in the past. Too many new young bucks trying to figure it out. Just don't have the same intensity on D as the Celtics we used to know.

Heat will try to run us out of the building with their smaller and quicker lineup. Have to slow the game down and make them work at our pace. This is the best team in the league so clearly the Knicks are underdogs, but they can really make it tough on the Heat and if they win send a nice message for the entire season.

I expect this game to be postponed ..as well as the nyc marathon
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Gee I hope that you are right. But we must make shots and so far that has been our problem. Who is going to make the shots? They keep shutting Novak down and Melo can do it buy himself. I just can't see how we win. I hope that I'm wrong.

Scoring is a concern. This just isn't a team made to be a scoring dynamo, but they can get this game into a trench war and that should help them stay in the game and what you hope for is that they get hot at some point and can get a lead and then protect it with great D. It's all about timing of when you have a run and how you protect that lead when you get it. The Knicks must execute the offense efficiently.

I'm hoping we're all underestimating JR Smith- he looked good in the one preseason game, you never know he could have a break out season. Don't underestimate Felton's offense either- he's very inconsistent but he's capable of having big scoring games.

Still, it's going to come down to defense and Miami is a tough challenge to start the season.

Our offense is very inconsistant and that will cause us to loose a lot of games. And I'm still not sure of our defense.

I'm still haunted by that game 1 loss a few months ago- Zombie Tyson battling through the flu was an omen, then that stretch kicked in where we got whistled for a foul every time we moved, Leborn adding insult to injury by flopping, then as the final kick to the nuts, Shump went down with an ACL tear. That game was an absolute soul destroyer, we need to avenge it...
