I can't believe they couldn't get a better return for him. This trade was quiet and seemingly out of the blue. I'd like to know how many teams they contacted.

The way those trades work is usually to keep them in contention and perhaps with one less player it defines Westbrook and Durants role. Harden has earned his way as a good finisher. Martin maybe a good fit, with younger asset in Lamb and Draft picks they can stay relevant for a while. They still might be the cream of the crop out west and if Lakes get it together I dont' think even with Harden they could beat them. So they sort of push things out more into the future.

Deal is similar in nature to What Nets paid for Deron?

I didn't want to start a new thread on this but, I do want to share. A friend of mine read on wire tap that Greg Oden was still available and said, Knicks should pick him up in case Canby goes down. I'm lmao, Cardboard vs Sheet Rock.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Oden would be an interesting project but how to bring him along? Dleague is good but the Physical therapy is not nearly as good. I don't know where he is on the recovery. How can a team make the investment without it being on the Cap?

harden is on fire right now. 37 and now 45. I thought teh dude was just a great 6th man but i guess the guy can play like an all-star when he is The main guy now

Harden and Lin backcourt is up there in the league. Harden doing his thing and Lin flirted with a triple double. Lin should have had at least 10 assists, Morris and Parsons missed a couple of open shots each.

Jennings dropped 21 pts and 13 asts on Rondo tonight.

Easy to put up assists when guys actually make shots.

STEVE NASH INJURY UPDATE

EL SEGUNDO- Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Nash was examined by team doctor Steve Lombardo and had an MRI exam. Results of the MRI showed a small non-displaced fracture in the head of his fibula (left leg).

The injury occurred in the second quarter of Wednesday night’s game in Portland against the Trail Blazers. Nash is expected to be out a minimum of a week. He will be re-examined and an update on his condition will be given at that time.

Jared Jeffries is actually playing for Portland? I thought he was out for a while with his knees. Happy for him.

EDIT: Houston announcers just called Toney Douglas a "wiley veteran". Hoping he has a little of a bounce back year, but LOL.
