PROBABLY NO BYNUM VS. KNICKS: The Knicks play the Sixers in a back-to-back on Sunday and Monday. It appears the Knicks might catch a break as Andrew Bynum will probably be out due to knee ailments. Bynum won't be in the starting lineup for the Sixers' opener Wednesday and won't take the floor until he's pain-free, Sixers GM Tony DiLeo told reporters.
GRANGER HURT, TOO: You'd never wish ill fortune upon anyone, but the Knicks privately have to be relieved with the news that Pacers forwrd Danny Granger is out indefinitely with a sore left knee. Granger's career numbers aren't especially strong against the Knicks, but he creates matchup problems and his absence should make things easier for Anthony.

I don't think Grangers absence is going to affect the Pacers, people say Paul George is ready to break out. Still, we crushed them last season in those 'two very winnable games'.
Hopefully no Bynum hits the Sixers- we need those two wins.

I personally don't think the Knicks are worried about any of those teams in terms of who is playing or not. This team is built to matchup with just about any team in the league. Our starting lineup may not look that impressive, but it's not just about that. When this team comes ready to defend they can slow down just about anyone. I can't wait to see what this team can do once they get into a groove at about 10-15 games.

Hope your right- one silver lining with Amar'e being out is that it's going to force this team to focus on defense, since we don't have as much offensive firepower. It's the only way we're going to win. Looking forward to seeing if we can do it.
