all i have to say is sacremento loses C webb for 65 games loses Bobby Jackson for 2 months losses brad miller for 10 games and they still have the best record in the NBA. The spurs lose duncan who is probably the one guy who is the biggest part of any one team in the nBA--and they win 4 out of 6 when he is out. if we lose games because of injury its part of the game you either step up and win--especially with a 100mm payroll or you dont/

I believe we are 3 games over .500 since Chaney was fired. While thats nothing to throw a parade over its not bad when you consider the roster changes since then as well as all the guys that have been hurt.. in addition to the fact that this was a lottery team the last two years.

The Kings have had the same core of players together for the last 3-4 years without major roster changes. They essentially swapped CWebb for Bradd Miller who played PF in his absence.

The 100 mil payroll is left over from Scott Layden... what are you saying here?

im saying that there is no excuse to lose to a team that has 19 wins at this point--we're not a good team--if we have an enhaced record from last year--remember that we played all year without mcdyess and the league was better. the east is putrid and as far as injuries go, weve been one of the more relatively healthy teams. teams dont have the luxury of having vin baker andersen penny to step in when their main players are hurt. Teams like toronto play gus like lonnie baxter[when he was there] etc...

if this is a good improved team you justdont lose games to chicago, win on a fluke to wash and get behind 27 to the Bucks. We havent played a good team in awhile yet the record is still primarily the same in a watered down east.

I think the Knicks stare at the 8th seed because right now clev and miami are better teams and now we get the Memphis's and Detroit's of the world we havent played in awhile.

In the last 15 games, we have only played 1 -- thats ONE very good team in Sacremento while almost every other team has a losing record and we are 6-9 against bad teams including that freak win against wash and NJ without kidd and martin. The record speaks for itself---we should be getting better at this point and we have been medicore at best.

your over reacting to one bad loss. After the bad West coast trip we won 6 of 8. Last night we had 33 points a game and the two guys who can shooting sitting on the bench, while Marbury had a bad shooting night. It happens.

Why is it whenever the Knicks get some wins its because the East is bad, but we have no future because every team in the East is on the rise?

Again.. the Knicks had nothing coming into this season. After one month of basketball we were 10 games under and heading straight back to the lottery. Now we have a major piece to build around in Marbury (A guy you called unguardable), we have Sweetney who's getting better every game, and some other good player. We still need a center, no arguement there. How about being patient for a year or two and see what the new GM does.

Briggs, you've just mentioned 2 teams that just happen to have coaches that rate in the top 5 coaches in the NBA.......Yes, things would be a little different if we had such a luxury. That's why trading for all these players with high expectations is total nonsense

"One Bad Loss"?????????????????????????????????????????

How many times are we gonna use that argument. We have been beaten several times by Cleveland, beaten by the Bulls twice, lost to Boston, to Philly, to Utah, almost lost to the Wiz, thats like 10 games worth of "One Bad Loss".

This is not just one bad loss, this yet another bad loss. They add up and the teams ends up on the outside looking in.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
