...yeah, that or a contusion (which is basically still a bruise) or something NOT as serious as a torn anything.

I'm going to keep it optimistic and hope that it's anything that won't keep him from playing starting November 1st.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Hope this is accurate.

Just ran into Tyson Chandler again. He says he's fine and that the crutches are precautionary until he has an MRI done tomorrow.

Ken Berger‏@KBergCBS

Chandler said contact with his left knee in the first minute of the game "stretched it out a little bit."

Okay... That could mean a bruise and a hyperextension...

If that's all it is, it shouldn't cause him to miss any games.

probably hypertension but I've learned over the years to expect the worse. Ewing, Dice, H20, LJ, Curry, Shump, Amare, Lin, Baron..

what did you see? He walked to the locker room really with no assistance.

14mm player you take care of it and do an MRI in the morning.

Its not baron or joe thiesman.

Just based off the recent outright lying/downplaying about injuries, he's probably out for 4 weeks

Ha...He'll be ok...after watching the replay they way he walked off court and to the locker room, seemed like his normal gait...He wasn't favoring any side noticeably...

highjacked from the NYTimes:

Of all the Knicks, Anthony was the most optimistic when he was asked about Chandler. He talked with Chandler during halftime and after the game.

“It doesn’t seem like it was too serious,” Anthony said. “He’ll be ready.”

It all depends on which part of the Knee and the condition of the knee before that. With Amar'e he already had knee issues and the Cyst was part of the continuing issues with his knee and i'm sure the bruise to his knee didn't help that. It's unlikely that Tyson would develop the same issues considering his lack of knee injury history.

is it really just a bone bruise or a hyper-extenstion as well? Is one week enough time to heal? Better take caution and misses a few games then rush him back and have him risk the year
