Melo will break down due to min-milage/style of play/age...He's on a more natural progression of breaking down and it will have little to do with Amar'e's absence.
Melo relies on his jumper a lot. He's not a reckless attacker like Wade. I think he's got plenty of years left.
Did you ever look at his FT attempts or are you just sayin?
He goes to the line less and less every year. Wade hasn't changed his playstyle until last year where he lacked his usual explosiveness. Wade's never shot as many jumpers as Melo has either. They have completely different approaches to the game.
he has averaged 7.8 FT attempts for his career. That is excellent. PP is at 7.4.
Don't compare him to Wade. Wade is a slashing GUARD and is of course a better player.
No, No, NO! Compare him to Wade, to Kobe, to Lebron...compare him to Jordan, for godsakes! He relies on his jumper, yeah, that's terrible. Maybe he should rely on his ability to take opposing SG's off the dribble, or maybe, just maybe, he should be playing the 5! Yeah, that's it, Melo's post moves don't compare to Shaq or Tim Duncan!
What a fuhuckin bum.
Hate knows no logic.
Please, someone start the regular season early.
