Love dudes game...might be my favorite guy in pre-season so far....

His leadership is big...he pulled Tyson and Melo aside to give direction. He told Tyson something about where he should be on the pick and roll.....he also made a point to tell Melo he needed to drive on a pass that Prig hit him with.

His defense is slick and sneaky. He is all about passing first and he finishes and ball handles very well in the open court. He takes what he is supposed to take on offense....

Very impressed with his play.

Agree. I loved the training camp videos of Kidd talking it up but in actual games I have found Pablo to be more productive. I think Pablo may jump ahead of Kidd and push Felton for minutes at the point.

I say at some point this year he is starting over Felton. I like Felton but Prigioni seems more like a leader out there and just has a lot more experience (but still some gas in the tank).

I am excited to see him play this year for sure.

I don't know if Woodson would do that to Felton unless he was a complete bust. My guess when he was signed was that Pablo would be brought in to close out quarters, I could see him gradually brought in sooner if Felton struggles.

I think he will play a lot to keep Kidd fresh for the playoffs. Once the 2s come back Kidd will not have to play off the ball as much but I like Priggs and Kidd together.

Pablo is no spring chicken either so its a balancing act. Ive been more impressed with Pablo than I have with Kidd so far but Im confident that will change as the season progresses. I agree that Kidd/Pablo make a nice tandem. Nice to have those two coming off the bench, shows how deep this team is. Just have to hope they stay healthy.

It's pretty sad that the guy we traded Lin, Papanikolaou, and a 2nd round pick for seems to be falling behind a 35 year old rookie from Argentina.

yes he sucked last night but the guy only had 2 TOs the first two games and historically has a low TO rate. Let's not go crazy. It's like people saying Machado may start because he was out playing Lin. Heck even TD was out playing Lin.

It's not just his turnovers but his overall play. I haven't seen any particularly good court vision and he's shooting like ****. And his defense hasn't been any better than average.

You don't know if Woodson would do that to him? No way, sure he would. Coaches will eat their pride and force the player to swallow theirs if another player clearly is better for the team. Key word, "clearly". Neither of the two are high paid, so it's not like a star is being unseated.

I think the 48 minutes at PG will be significantly above average. Not tops in the league, but maybe the bottom of the upper third? I really think the position will be a strength this year. I like Felton but he's steaky. When he's off you can ride Kidd and Prigoni more than normal. Not a long term solution but I like it for this year

Doubt he overtakes Felton, but he has been a bit more impressive than Kidd thus far....

What does the rest of that sentence say that you conveniently left out? "Unless he was a complete bust." Shoots down your argument that I don't see that happening at all but thats why you left it out isnt it? Felton was brought in to be the starter and Woodson will give him a chance to sink or swim. I see him reducing his minutes as starting PG first before going that route.

Let's remember that Kidd is 40 and it's the preseason. He doesn't look out of shape or slower than he has the last 4 or 5 years. I think he is just trying to chill and gel.

He plays very smart and he never seems ruffled at the end of games. That kind of composure is what you want out of a leader at the end of games. He's also shown he's not afraid to take a shot if he's open. He got Melo wide open shots last night even though he didn't make em. I like him so far.

Me too and I agree that Pablo isn't acting like he's intimidated by the competition. He is under the radar right now and he will have to adjust when other teams start noticing his game but Prigioni has the advantage of being a seasoned veteran so the transitiion shouldn't be as difficult as it would be for a younger player.
