"Starters"
PG: Felton
SG: Shump
SF: Melo
PF: Amare
C: Chandler
The logic: Massage egos by having these names called when the lights go out pre-game.
"The Melo Show"
PG: Felton
SG: JR Smith
SF: Novak
PF: Melo
C: Chandler
Logic: I'm assuming that Amare and Melo can play together but both will be at their best as the primary focal point of the offense.
JR Smith and Novak should always be on the floor on the same time cuz dammit it's fun to watch JR always looking for Novak and may reduce JR hoisting up crazy shots.
"The Amare Show"
PG: Kidd
SG: Brewer/Shump/JR
SF: Novak
PF: Amare
C: Camby
Logic: Have Amare play center on offense where he's too quick for most big men. Camby guards centers on defense.
Kidd runs the PnR for Amare or gets him the ball down low for his new fangled shiny post game.
Shump guards the quicker PGs Kidd can't keep up with. Brewer can hopefully do the same?
Novak spaces the floor
"The Finishing Unit"
????? Good luck Woody because you know Kidd wants to be on the floor as does Melo and Amare. That's one slow PG who can't stay in front of people. The sieve that is Amare. Melo I think will be ok defending in crunch time and motivated.
PG: Kidd
SG: Shump (covers up for Kidd on D)
SF: ??????
PF: Melo
C: Amare
