The Greatest Basketball player of all time, no question. The Greatest A$$hole of all time also? Maybe.

Tales from former Bulls assistant Johnny Bach:

Who was the better defender? Pippen was one of the best and most gifted defenders of all time. But MJ was the better defender. Michael could shut down anyone in the world for a 3 minute span. The best he’s ever seen. (I was pretty shocked by that, but man what does that tell you about MJ, unbelievable.) Jordan was the most ferocious competitor Bach has seen in all his years of basketball. Johnny said physically Jordan and Pippen were about the same as defenders. But when you add in MJ’s ruthlessness and trash talk, that put him ahead of Scottie.
When Johnny was coaching with the Hornets in 1995 they had a good team. Glen Rice, Mourning, Johnson. Series was tied at 2 and Hornets had a chance to win game 5 in Chicago. On the biggest possession of the game, Mugsy had the ball with the Hornets down 1. Jordan backed off of him and told him: “shoot it you f-cking midget.” Mugsy shot it, didn’t come close. A year later Mugsy actually told Johnny Bach that he believes that single play ruined his career. His shot never recovered.

Wow, talk about demoralizing smack talk! It gets better...

Next, how about a story of Jordan messing with Charles Barkley during the 1993 NBA Finals? Here you go.
The day before game 4 of the Bulls Suns finals with the Bulls leading the series 2-1. Michael and Charles Barkley went golfing. They played 48 holes of golf. And Michael bought Charles a $20,000 diamond earring. Johnny asked MJ, “what did you do all that for?” Michael responded, “he won’t get in my way the rest of the series, what’s $20,000 to me? Charles thinks we’re great friends. I hate that fat f-ck.” Jordan dropped 55 in game 4 and Barkley never touched him once.

Why even compete, Jordan will just buy you out of your competitive spirit. The Greatest (dick) indeed!

I feel bad for mugsy, but jordan was an assasine, if mugsy hits that shot, jordan looks like a fool and mugsy is now probably one of the best spot up shooting mid range PG's in the league... you either make the plays or you don't.. no place for hard feelings..

Jordan was a killer on the court.. Killers aren't nice...

JVG was correct when he said jordan befriends guys and then kills them on the court.. which is why I am not a fan of all of this country club behavior, toasting at weddings and trying to hook up and play BFF, in a grown man's business....

but now all of these guys jordan killed, some of them are Gm's and coach's, they have a chance to get back at him....LOL

I don't know why I still buy the pricks shoes. It's amazing how the most successful people are the most unhappy people. That emptiness is probably what drives them.

Being a smiley happy guy will get you know where.

It's beautiful basketball.

Anyway, as much as I hated him for what he did to the knicks, he was the ultimate sports artist. And with that as with all artists, they are complicated dicks.

That's hilarious. I wear them for the same reason - flat feet.

I feel like a traitor. But, its all about the feet.

Am I a bad guy for being happy that his life crashed? Divorced, Bad GM, etc ...

That is what I hated about kobe too. They strutted like they owned the world and their shyt don't stink and everyone bowed to them. However, kobe went down early with the rape allegation so I felt better. Needed to come down from his perch. Jordan did it for his whole career. Smiling at the portland bench after each 3 - PUKE!!

Everything.

Dolan is miserable because he is a colossal failure. It ain't easy inheriting money and fail. Thats why he is so damn paranoid.

Jordan is a miserable because he is so freakin image conscious and his image is taking a slamming. Did you watch his HOF speech? Did that seem like a happy man to you?

I don't how happy or miserable Jordan was, but boy was he insufferable! Re-watching his Hall of Fame induction speech...talk about holding grudges! What a cringe fest! Fast forward to 16:00 for the Knicks bits. Watch from 0:00 if you want to re-hate him:

He maybe rich, powerful, and influential. But man does he have some internal issues to iron out!

Failure in your eyes???..Their basketball teams aren't winning???...But Dolan is making bank off the team, it is a business, his stock has more than doubled since it's IPO, so yes he is winning...I'm sorry dude...I think there is a lot more to people than what is presented in public and happiness cannot be assessed by what is perceived in press conferences and speeches...Life is a little more deeper than that...
