I may actually give the bucks the win at phoenix...but other than that, good point. If by some chance the knicks do go 7-1 over the next 8...we may actually be able to pick up some ground on NO.
Hornets could win the next 3 of 4, but then hit a tough stretch with games at LAL, Utah, Portland, Seattle, and Sacramento. not to mention again against the knicks that could pick us up a game on them.

I can easily see us 10 - 3 or 9 - 4 the rest of the way. We'd wind up 42-40 or 41-41. Milwaukee could easily go 6 - 9 or 7 - 8. They'd wind up 40 - 42 or 41-41. It's a real possibility! Think we're 2-1 head to head agains thte Bucks, so we'd have the tie-break. Obviously a lot of if's, and things have to fall right, but legitimate possibility.

Thanks for bringing this up Starb. Gives me some hope of getting to the 2nd round. Of course, there's the other, still more likely possibility. We wind up in 6th and get the Pistons in the 1st round.
Much rather get the Nets. Even with Kidd and Kenyon, think it would be a good series. Not sure we take more than 1 or 2 from Detroit, unless we pick up our game in a big way.
