Wally Szczerbiak replaces Tripucka as lead in studio analysis...Not sure if it was mentioned already...He did well in his first stint..Local kid from Long Island...I like it...

Heard that this morning. While Tripucka never really bugged me, I wasn't thrilled by him either. Look forward to seeing Wally give it a shot. Still bummed he never made his way here as a player (although given the roster, maybe that's the next step?).

He was definitely nervous after the Washington game and Hahn wasn't making it easy on him, cutting him off right away and then saying some contrarian bs just to hear himself talk. Wally became more comfortable as the postgame went on though and seems like he should be a solid as long as he doesn't tow the company line and calls it straight.

Having a younger ex-player on there, should make it better.

Last night was my first time watching wally in the studio. He seemed comfy. I look fwd to his experience from ex player point of view
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

He used to appear on msg a couple of years ago back during that offseason when Lebron became a free agent, with Alan Hahn too. Guess they were testing the two of them for future tv roles.

I remember when he was a player there were rumors of IT trying to trade for him (he was injured and overpaid, two things IT couldn't resist), and the rumors kept saying he really wanted to come here due to his NY connections.
