Really liked what I saw last night. He started out a bit shaky but, I attribute that to it being his first game and adjusting to the faster pace and higher physicality level. 2nd Half he really settled in and showed/gave glimpses of what he could bring to the table.

His shooting was better than I expected and nothing was forced. In fact he turned down a few 3point opportunities but, when he started letting them fly he shot well.

His court vision seemed to improve as the game progressed, hitting Tyson with the nifty lob pass.

On the defensive end he wasn't the liability I feared he would be and even came up with a couple of steals.

All in all, I liked what I saw and feel a bit more confident that if Kidd or Felton go down, we won't be totally up shyts creek.

Pablo was the only one of the question marks that actually left an imprint on the game. No, I'm wrong about that, Kurt had a good showing but, don't want to derail my Pablo post.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Well put. Prigioni has a well rounded game. When he gets that PG esp going with his teammates I believe we will see even more from him. Its still early and it was the Wiz, but I'm encouraged. I could see him playing the 2 at times until Shump gets back and is at 100 percent.

He's not going to reach Lin heights with regards to being a fan favorite, but I think the Garden faithful will bestow on him the Eric Anderson Memorial Bench Superstar Award.

It's obvious that he has an extremely high bball IQ. He can dish it with the best of them and knock down that 3 ball if given space, foot speed be damned.

Foot speed may be an issue on the defensive end but for a 3rd string guard I think we may have hit the jackpot.

Definitely A tribute to Glen and co. He's been chasing Pablo for years. Imagine we had him in his prime years...

Now all those people that were talking ish about Pablo and why we needed him as opposed to some young guy can shut up. When you're trying to win it helps to have PG's that know what the heck they're doing. It's not about pure athletic ability. I prefer players that can think the game and have skills. Reading defenses and understanding time and score and what they need to do.

If he can figure out how to score at the basket he will be even better. I knew he would work in the summer by seeing how he used screens to create just enough separation.

He's very patient and a good decision maker. Still think he's pretty slow and defeintly not a threat to drive but for your 3rd PG more than adequate.

Pablo makes a lot of risky passes..Still preseason tho...He is a good player but will be behind Felton and Kidd...Our PGs as a group is solid...We need a shooter with the first team..It's glearing...Felton has to keep shooting...Go Knicks!!!

Pablo made Copeland look like a superstar in the game against the Celtics.

I learned 2 things from this Celtics game.
1. Pablo can run the Pick and Roll with the best of them, pesky defender, and decent 3 point threat
2. Copeland should be given the 15th slot on the squad. He has got some skills and can really contribute.

Felton has to keep shooting? You are not serious, right? He is an awful shooter! He needs to stop shooting.

U are crazy..It's not how u play basketball...Felton has to keep shooting to keep the defense honest...He has to gain confidence in his shot..It's pre-season where you work on your kinks...Woody has been telling him to shoot and praise the lord for it...If Felton's shot begins to fall we are a different team all together...He his doing everything u want in a PG except hitting his shot..We need some one to hit that outside shot Landry has been missing the last two years...I didn't want Fields to stop shooting either...His shot and his confidence could come in January, who knows, keep shooting...That will make us a tough out in June when it matters...Keep Shooting Felt, you look good out there...Keep shooting!!!!

How many 3pt shots has Felton attempted in his 10yr career anyone know? Are we nearing the point where they start to go in at better than 29% clip?

You sound like MDA He told TD to keep shooting and that he did.

Felton is not horrible when he gets set up and shoots but he is awful shooting off the dribble and that is not what he is good at. Baron Davis used to do that too and I could not stand it. Stop trying to be a star and set up the others. Felton's other aspects of his game are really good. This part of it really has hurt him.

Not only MDA, every coach in basketball will tell u shoot the ball...U have too or it kills the team...The same thing for Rondo, who is worse...There is no reason for him not to shoot the ball right now...He has to gain confidence...He isn't a great shooter but if he can knock down the open J then it keeps his man out the lane where it affects the rest of the team...It keeps him from cheating defensively so Felton can blow by him...It's one of those things u hold your nose and watch...He has to shoot....He doesn't have to be Steve Nash, just knock down enough to make the defender stay close....

So in other words improve on his 39% and 29% 3pt career shooting numbers. #fingers are crossed
