Besides the obvious and most important statistic (our points > their points), what are some statistic goals that this team (or any team should strive for)? I'm looking for actual numbers or %ages. That way we can evaluate. Here's a couple I can think of ten off the top of my head (in no particular order):
PPG > 98 (last yr 97.6)
OPP PPG < 94 (94.7)
FG% > 45% (44.3%)
OPP FG% < 44% (44.2%)
FT% >77% (74.1%)
Turnovers < 14.5 (16; 2ND TO LAST)
Rebounds > 43 (41.7)
Assists > 22 (20.1)
Steals > 8 (9.4; 2ND OVERALL)
Asst/TO Ratio > 1.5 (1.26; 4TH TO LAST)
most of the knicks stats were in the lower 3rd of the NBA
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
