I know the season hasn't even started but I think The Knicks are the only team that can match up with The Lakers front court, Dwight Howard and Paul Gasol vs Chandler, Camby , Amare, Rasheed and even Kurt Thomas gives them the size to match up. I would take the Knicks over the Lakers because Melo is in his prime and Kobe is not, Chandler is the only guy in the league to give Dwight nightmares and Pau is a softy as Amare said and he has consistently disappeard these last 2 playoffs. There's alot of other factors of course but it would be pretty sweet beating the Lakers considering the only 2 championships the Knicks have were against the Lakers as well.

We got to get past the Heat first, but I agree, we match up better with Lakers. And we have 2 defensive minded SGs, so Kobe will be hounded by Shump and Brewer all game. I'm sure Ray can hold his own somewhat defending Nash, it's the quicker ones he has a tough time with. I'm not sure how Melo will fare against Metta World Peas, I'm imagining Melo having a difficult time overpowering Artest.
