someone to hit a couple big shots. He's got to be under 45 right?

Sub in Kurt for D and Horry for offense?

OK, so let’s trade Shumpert + 3 millions + a future first rounder (or two second rounders’, which ever they choose) to the San Antonio Spurs for the rights to have Robert Horry in training camp.

If it doesn’t work out, it won’t mean anything since according to Knicks management, this team is built to win now, and picks or young players are irrelevant at this point.

Well, Robert Horry does have more rings than Jordan.

Is Artis Gilmore still alive?

Ha Ha

Actually met Artis Gilmore in the 90s Jrod when I managed a hotel. Gave him a suite for the price of a single room. Was there on business but I forget what he did. Very nice man. I'm 6"3, felt like a midget standing next to him.

Knicks tried that deal but it was shot down

Like Artis Gilmore would have even fit in a single room. I remember even when I saw him in a game on TV, he made everyone else on the court look like they were in jr high.

I'm 6'7", and I remember standing between Bill Cartright and Marvin Webster back in the '80's. Midget is not the word. I felt like I was a different species. Gilmore with that fro would have been scary.

Well, if we make the finals vs. the Lakers, it's possible we could need someone to hip-check Nash.

That's exactly why I wouldn't take Robert Horry even if the season depended on it. His body check of Nash at the end of that playoff game was one of the dirtiest moves I've seen on a Pro Basketball court. Nash was lucky he wasn't seriously hurt. Horry may have been in the right place at the right time to win a lot of rings but I only remember him as Dirty! Dirty! Dirty!

I worry about Horry's experience level, he is just too green for this team. He's not there yet. Have we reached out to Bernard King yet? He is an UFA.

You know who has a lot of championship experience? Steve Kerr. We could really use his shooting especially at the guard spot.

I've heard Bill Russell is available for the MLE.

I would take Bill Russell even if he were on his death bed. He willed his team to win.

I think we should sign Johnny Hoops now that he stepped down from the broadcast booth. Sign him to the practice squad at least. He will fill in nicely for Camby while his calf heals
