Kelly Tripucka, a Pistons’ teammate of Thomas’s and a reasonable, credible MSG/Knicks’ studio man and backup in-game analyst the last four seasons, apparently won’t be re-hired. Figures.

WOW and he was the near definition of a Homer commentator. He would break down the game pretty well too.

Isiah to his credit was very good when he was on NBC. I think most fans around the country don't understand what a scumbag he is.

He was the only one in the studio who was critical of the Knicks play and players. Not a surprise

Tripucka was one of Isiah's boys. He was a decent commentator, but he had no connection with the Knicks. Who are they bringing in to replace him?

I thought Tripucka was master of the obvious...
He would not let anyone else speak...

Wasn't Tripucka a Nets announcer before he covered the Knicks? I think its just business and I certainly don't look at Kelly like he is a guy that can't be replaced. Knicks should bring in the Beast. I remember Patrick broadcasting a summer league game once saying that it was something he might want to do after his career was over.

He can see it like an big audition to be the coach. Second guess woodson when things go wrong. Bitter HOF ex player who pines for the gig is a great idea!

Breen is so anti melo he is hard to listen to. Jvg puts him in his place but Breen calls games based on guys he goes to dinner with. My guess is woodson is too busy doing his job to hang out with mike Breen.
