Do you make any $$$ of this sight or is it just pure Knick love? You dont post any ads, yet this sight is nicely engineered. Very professional... plus even virual hosted sites cost $$$. Just curious, and my compliments, its a great site and I enjoy it every day.

Andrew and I own, host, develop, pay $$$ out of pocket, mod, and do everything for the site. Pure Love baby. Plus, it's fun.

We do have help: knicksbabyyeah regularly sends banners to us. And we do have others that have asked to help develop new stuff. We always welcome suggestions, help, participation, whatever. I think Andrew and I would love add a lot more features to the site (chat room during a game?) but are just too busy.

One of the fun aspects about running the site is that we do get direct emails from a lot of the beat writers we know and love/hate. I think a downer for the both of us is mod'ing the forums (how do you keep it a place where good discussion happens without letting it get bogged down by, well, crap - it's a tough balance).

good stuff... you guys really do a good job. Do you keep solid webstats? Something where you track the daily number of redirects to the articles you post? I'm sure if you presented it well you could get at least a modest kick back from some of the papers as you are essentially redirecting traffic right to their sites. Thats direct advertising $$ for them as most internet billing is ratioed by hits and visits.
