Celts sign Darko. Spurs sign Derrick Brown. Channing Frye is going to miss the entire season due to an enlarged heart. Hope everything turns out ok for Channing.

Derrick Brown can jump out of the gym if I remember right. The Knicks claimed him off of waivers from the Bobcats two seasons ago (?). I like him as a long term prospect but he is coming from the Bobcats.

And the weird thing is that he seemed to love being a Bobcat. He was annoyed we picked him up off waivers a season or two ago, and went straight back to the bobcats at the end of that season. In the end I don't think they wanted him, which is why he's gone to the Spurs. Imagine that- a player, who not only loved being a bobcat but was also rejected by them!
