What player would make it difficult for you to be a Knick fan?

This is inspired by some of the posts on other threads, where long term Knick fan TKF is still struggling with the Gallo/Melo trade- its tough when your favourite player is traded for someone you loath. I don't mind Melo, but it's made me wonder what player I would hate to see on our roster, to the point it would ruin my enjoyment of watching the team.

We had some absolute stinkers during the IT days, and even before that the Sprewell for van horn trade destroyed a lot of my enthusiasm. But nowadays, I'd say the two players I'd hate to see as Knicks would be Deron Williams (I have an irrational dislike of him- really can't stand him) and Westbrook, just because I couldn't stand all of that rubbing our faces in it when the Thunder kicked or arse.

Who would you hate to see on the Knicks and why?

I'm having a tough time with Kidd as a Knick, but I couldn't take Paul Pierce or Kevin Garnett. Just...no. Don't ever make me witness that.

Oh and Kevin 'face stomper' Love- cant stand the guy!

I forgot about Pierce- cant believe we'll have to put up with his smug smile and clutch 3pt shots for another season- bah!

we already have two of them.. mental midget JR and his buddy carmelo...

I am ok with kidd as I know he is doing like most of the NBA does, come to NY to get paid on his way out.. but he was once a great, great player, I can respect that even though I never liked him as a person per say...

the sad thing is,

Just a hypothetical, if Carmelo and JR were to win a Championship with the Knicks, would you still hate them?

IM looking forward to actually having "villians".

That means we are playing meaningful games again.

I hated Tim Hardaway and all things Miami heat.

I hated Reggie and the pacers. Jordan and the Bulls.

WOrthy opponents and worthy of respect.

BItter disappointments but sweet victories. Reggie "chokes" us but LJ gets it back with the "4".

JVG owned Miami except for "Fight" year and ends one of our best chances!

Its what makes the Era.

It wouild go a long way with me to beat Boston and Retire the Paul Pierce Era.

Pierce, and Garnett. Several years ago Kenyon Martin. I hated Martin on the nets. Hated his dirty, fugazzy play and I hated that he laughed at Zo when he struggled coning back from a kidney transplant on the Nets. I hated the Spree trade but got over it and liked Spree a lot as a Knick.

LeBron he's given too much by the NBA he gets away with murder if and when we get our title it will be earned not handed to us it feels so much better earning a title than being given one

The Heat's title just doesn't seem legit in my eyes the NBA wanted that and if LeBron were a Knick I'd prolly give up on watching basketball

No player or coach could have that privilege...I rooted for wins thru a year of Larry Brown starting guys in their home towns...MDA and his no defense playing, helter skelter three point shooting, the game plan is to outscore the other team tooting...I'm ready for anything...

Wouldn't of stopped me from being a fan but it would have been hard to see Jordan in a Knicks uniform after all those battles.
