If folks want to talk Nets (outside of when they play against the Knicks) or remain obsessed with Lin, there have to be other venues to sate those needs.

Of course free speech is part of what we do, but if you don't like ownership and have no faith in the team, then why the heck are you here?

It's not phobia. It's just that many of us aren't Nets fans and never will be. I don't care about teams until they are playing the Knicks. UK even has a general NBA forum that would a perfect place for these folks to talk about the Nets. Just sayin'...

But nobody is taking about the nets, except posters talking about talking about the nets.

Maybe now, but for a while (the better part of the summer), and you can look at the threads to get your proof, many threads were either about or in their content degenerated into Jeremy Lin or Nets discussion. Several were even that now that the Knicks let Lin leave the poster was thinking about becoming a Nets fan.

Again, Lin's not coming back while Dolan owns. Yes, Dolan's a tool, but that's hardly new info. If people can't handle his presence and decisions (with the known advice sought from Zeke) then maybe it's time for those people to look to another team, but why waste the space and time HERE talking about it? And to the original point, why the flip are there still so many pictures of Lin on the homepage? Loved the guy when he was here, but he made his decision and we got Raymond...where are the pics of Felton?

Lin was a hot topic and deservingly so.

But if you look a the net topics, and I was at the epicenter I would say there were more comments about the subject then ever content discussed. We talk about other teams all the time here.

Its "N*tPhobia", and if you say something about something that is a very diluted subject then you got a case of it yourself.

Im going to have Marv study this for us and perhaps he'll write a very important paper on it one day.

Again, the Nets came up a lot in other threads. But here's the real proof, the Nets and then the non-reacquisition of Lin lead to a Alba tourney-less summer, and this is a fact. The priorities here were and arguably still are highly out of whack.

We all need to focus on what's really important!
