While some still lament Lin and others miss Jorts, The Answer Man prefers to hug the new guys. There are some great stories to be told among our early arrivals.

Our frontcourt tutored by Hakeem Olajuwon. Our guards mentored by Jason Kidd.

Carmelo and Tyson Chandler with Olympics gold medals. Amar'e with some bounce.

Shumpert and Ronnie Brewer rehabbing with care. Marcus Camby and Kurt Thomas who been there.

Steve Novak and Raymond Felton who have already gotten acquainted via private workouts.

"Yes I am here! My family and I (wife, Raquel, and children, Alessandra, 6, and Nicolas, 3) are trying to organize here in White Plains. We found the perfect schools for my kids, so we are very happy for that. We rented an apartment, a car and got our social security numbers, etc. So every day, we're getting better situated. Also, I started to work at the Knicks' facility and I feel really good. I'm so excited to start practice with all team together. See everyone soon!"

Pablo can't be worse than Bibby was at this point.

My only big concern at this point is or perimeter defense.

It's a team now, Brewer JR Shump Kidd Felton have the defense covered in the backcourt.

Pablo is the third string, no need to worry when he comes in the game.

What is this guy's role here? A 35 yr old 3rd or maybe even 4th string PG? Signing him didnt make as much sense once we got Kidd.

His role is to preserve Jason Kidd, and get an experience on nba life.

I like what grunnie has done, brought in guys to preserve other guys and keep them fresh.

grunnie? rofl.. jeez.. now he has a nickname..

anyway, how do you preserve older guys, by bringing in other older guys who have never played in the NBA?

By not playing Kidd as much.....common sense applied.

I think he will be used to close out the first and second quarter eventually. A few minutes here and there to be ready in case someone gets hurt.

I think this is going to turn out to be a great signing by Grunwald. The guy can play and makes what an undrafted free agent gets.

Priggy is a vet who has court vision and passing skill that will be beneficial when he's called upon to play. Doesn't matter how many minutes he gets. This is a guy that you don't have to really teach the game. Most likely when he's on the floor he'll be facing the other teams bench PG so it's not like he's gonna have to log heavy minutes against the absolute best for 25 minutes a night. Heck if a guy like Duhon can be in the nba for as many years as he's been around Priggy can play a few minutes off the bench.

Behind felton & kidd...priggs wont find consisnt minutes tho
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

...Skyscrapers...and everything. His handle's sure, his game is fast and gritty. He'll spend this season patrolling the real court of New York City... Livin just enough, just enough...for the City!

Seriously, folks are worried about what amounts to a Euro-seasoned low paid rookie getting minutes? Any positives we get out of Prigs (hey tkf, roll on the floor some more) are going to be a bonus.

We went from the one shot wonder of the universe backed up by the platoon duo of elder-walking wounded at PG, to Felton, Kidd, Prigs. Mix in a little Shump when he's healthy.

Please, go whine about something else.

Raymond Felton does does not take any s#it offa nobody and has a strong bond with New York due to his toughness.

Assistant Coach Jason Kidd is the traffic cop who provides in-game tutorials. Watch how animated he is during timeouts.

Pablo Prigioni, the security guard, just competed against the best players on the planet. He did not flinch.

Go Pablo Go

14 points: 4-for-8 from three) does not suck that bad.

"He made some nice lob things happen when picking and rolling with Chandler and, when playing off the ball alongside Jason Kidd, sank a bunch of three-pointers. Someone mentioned this in the thread, but Pablo's thread is just so delightfully casual. He hardly lifts off the ground, and releases it slowly enough that he appears almost reluctant. 4-8 from downtown, though. Guy wasn't really looking to penetrate at all, and I think that's going to be the case for both Pablo and Kidd.

- Both Kidd and Pablo had a lot of fun picking pockets and sneaking on passing lanes in the second half. On the other hand, Kidd didn't shoot as effectively as Prigioni did, but he did toss a few slick passes, including one exceedingly Kiddian back-handed dish from a post-up to a weak side three (by Novak, I think).

- I was a big fan of Prigioni's two-handed sidewinder bounce entry passes during the Olympics, and I'm still a fan."

can these 2 Pablo threads can be merged for simplicities sake
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt
