Finally.

Knick nemesis Reggie Miller admitted Friday that he committed a foul during his infamous eight-points-in-nine-seconds stretch in Game 1 of the 1995 playoffs, which propelled the Indiana Pacers to an improbable come-from-behind win.

Miller finally admitted that he shoved Greg Anthony and held him on the ground before the steal that set up the second of his back-to-back 3-pointers.

"In 1995, as you saw on the video, yeah, I pushed," Miller said Friday during his Hall of Fame induction speech. "I'm sorry. The ref didn't call it, I went with it."

"Like Magic said, 'By any means necessary,'" he added, offering a similar admission about pushing Michael Jordan in the 1998 playoffs. "So I apologize. I've never said that publicly. So Greg, OK. I shoved you and kept you down."

Miller was inducted on Friday after a stellar 18-year career that included many performances that buried the Knicks.

Question: Does this make you feel any better about what happened in 1995? Or worse?

We lost this series in 7.

Greg anthony lost that game, along with starks miss Ft's..Greg took the cake because he trip on the inbound pass, and when we had a chance to even the score, he trip and bust his ass again..Looking at the clip now, I can't stop laughing, but back then i could have killed him..

Ironically a couple years later when greg anthony was with portland, they were schedule to play the nets, I bump into greg, pipin, and dale davis at a club in SOHO.. a buddy of mine (knick die hard) approach anthony screamed at him for falling all over himself (in a play full manner) at first greg looked shook but then he(greg) apologize deeply, brought us a couple of bottles of champaign, had a toast, joked a little bit with us for about that game, and left..real cool dude..I knew he would become an analyst cause he spoke so well..I told him that too, and he laugh said the thought never entered his mind..

I still hate Reggie's guts, but I respect the way he played the game.

That 25 pt 4th quarter along with the choke gesture towards spike will forever be etched in my cranium.

I hated the reggies, jordans, tim hardaways of that era, but I respect the sht out of anybody who works hard, plays hard, plays smart, and is cluctch as hell..

I still think when it comes down to clutch shooting, Melo is going to be top 5 all time..

Reggie and Jordan have got to be the all time best

greg is a good dude and was a winner in college.. glad that turned out that way. shows how mature he was, most of these knucklehead would have taken that bottle and tried to go upside your heads.. LOL... yea, greg and starks blew that one.. starks hits the Ft's and had greg kept his legs from being jello, we would have won that IMO..

Reggie did it to Jordan also he didn't care he wanted to win.

All of them had killer instinct and gave it their all until the clock said zero.....

No Gatorade towels draped over their laps and their shoulders and their heads like they're getting ready to rip a Fashionista Runway hiding behind the cloak of failure. That's what that says when players do that all the time..."CLOAK OF FAILURE"

I still and likely always will loath skeletor.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt
