Knicks have the opportunity to have some pretty impressive platoon line-ups for the last 5 or 6 possessions of close games.

On D: Felton, Shump, Brewer, Camby and Chandler.

When we've got the ball: Felton, Kidd, Melo, Stat and Chandler.

Should help us close out games.

Good point. Forgot about him.

When we've got the ball: Felton, Kidd, Melo, Stat and Chandler and Novak!

So you think we will have no turovers and will take timeouts between each possesion?
Are you into fantasy bbal only or an NBA fan?

Akrud, why so pissy?
Plus, you're just plain wrong.
Offense/defense end of game platooning is a standard NBA coaching strategy. You think Camby won't come in for Stat when we need a key stop down the stretch? Or Novak for Chandler if we need a hoop?
Great to have 2-way players. But we don't have too many of them. We do have guys who are studs on one end of the court or the other, and that will be very important at the ends of games.

2-way players win the chips. One sided players are good for fantasy games not to win in NBA.
If Melo and Stat will not play on both ends of the court this team will go down in flames.
And this has nothing to do with cranch time. It will be no such a thing.
