Seems like the 4 teams fighting the Knicks for a playoff spot just can't be beat these days.

Boston beat Denver tonight. Philly is hanging with New Orleans, Toronto is hanging with Utah.

Maybe its just the East flexing it's mighty muscles...Wash took out Sacramento (they are better without Webber). Atlanta is beating Dallas by 25 at the half!! Yikes.

No way a team can be better without webber. he may have no balls but he can play. when you got a guy like him, you just have to get a clutch player to finish games, cause that's the only thing you can't ask web to do.

Kings are better without him only short term. they have to integrate him back in the lineup and twist a bit their style of play.

saying they were better before cause they were winning would be like saying the knicks were better before marbury came cause we were winning.

Raven...you are right about webber....I should have said that Sac seems to play better (harder) without Webber.

Clevand is closest there is to a lock among the 5 fighting for 3 spots. IMO, they have a real solid team that's going to be very strong in coming years so long as they stay healthy. Awesome top 3 with James, Boozer and Ilgauskas. Ever since they dumped Ricky D., they've been dynamite. If they come in at 6, as it seems they will, I think they'll give Detroit a hard time in first round. That's what I'm hoping for, because it could help our cause in getting some Weed.

Between NY, Miami, Toronto, Boston for the last two slots, it's a tougher call. I like NY and Miami. I'm hoping we get in and play Nets first round.

5th place or 6th place is still possible,

We're 3 games in back of MIL.
But MIL is playing 5 straight on the road against PHO, LAL, SAC, GS, CHI

and then they come back home only to have to face HOU, IND, @IND, CLE, @TOR, @NJ, WASH, NO, @CLE, TOR

Say they go 6-9 rest of the way ( i think they might not even win 6 but lets give them 6), if we can go 8-5, both teams are 40-42 and we own the tie breaker.

Depending how Cleveland does, will determine if we're 5th or 6th.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

When Webber is healthy he's a top 10 player in the NBA.. and a top 2-3 PF.
