(Spoiler alert on the top vote getter. "Little Man" lovers be warned!)

They polled 100 writers to get these results.

Only 16 teams got votes, we receved two. Not great but we are 12th on the list.

on the list also was Washington, Philly, Toronto, and that other team I can't really say.

I have discussed that our division is tougher this year even with our improvements. Im not really into why Toronto got votes.

Im looking forward to this season as there should be some really good matchups and perhaps some renewed inter-divison rivalries. Besides Brooklyn the good old days Knicks vs. Boston and the "Bullets" were some great east coast rivalries! Seemed the Knicks and Sixers never were good at the same time for many years. Washington has been awful for so long!

I have respect for our divisional rivals. To lose to a good team is not dishonorable. It also enhances the victory when accomplished. If the knicks are really as good as they can be I'd still have them finishing first ahead of Boston and Brooklyn.

Could the balance of power finally shifted more east now?

Who do you think will be a tough in division rival?

Thats pretty awesome considering they had no cap space, and barely any assets to make moves with.

Lol love that the Nets are the first thing you see when you click on the link.

It's not hard improving from 22 wins...

Exactly............

Washington has quietly sneaked up also. They were a train wreck but look like a 35 to 40 team win.

Philly is still a mystery of sorts after promoting Evan Turner but adding Bynum. They are very young also.

I think Boston is over rated.

Boston has been trying to trade Rondo for some time but nobody bites. I think this is the year they break down.

On paper, Washington is very dangerous, if they could make that mental leap. They have the post guys to balance the wings. John Wall has to take the next step.

Philly is always coached well and is scrappy thanks to Doug Collins. We'll see if Bynum adapts well to being "the man".

We keep waiting for Boston to fall, and it seems like they never do. I agree, this is the year we finally catch them and possibly win the Atlantic. (How long has it been???)

I think Indiana and Philly are the 2 teams that go into this season relatively overrated. Philly had a good run early in the season and got lucky to beat the Bulls without Rose, but not sure how good they really are. I feel like they are a 6-7 seed. Indiana seems like one of those teams similar to Milwaukee last year that showed a lot of promise and was assumed to come back much better, but just declined without any real reason. I just think a lot fell in Indiana's favor last year. I still think they are a 4 or 5 seed, but not the 2nd best team in the east like some might assume because Chicago is without Rose. I think Knicks and Celtics will be fighting for that 2-seed behind Miami, and Indiana and Brooklyn will be fighting to round out 1st round home court advantage.

Why play the games??... Lets debate the Championships Finals on Facebook...All this means nothing...Let play the games...Knicks been starphucking for years and got them nowhere but the Nets have it figured out...Joe Johnson doesn't have a pulse much less want to win...DWill has zero personality which fits right in with Mr. Kardashian and BoPez...I have never hear Wallace speak, he has been in the league like 10 years...Good luck Nolad and the Nets...Starphucking is now good....

SO you think the Nets will be a 22 win team?

Personality is not relevant to on court performance. Khardasian was all over the news and still was 2nd in rebounding. Im trying to bring real relevance to on the court and you want to talk about Wallaces lack of speach?

I'm sure you would search for and find shyt especially from ESPN like this. I don't care about crap like this because I know what we have in the NY Knicks and I'm happy with it. Don't care about these one sided comparisons. Can't wait for the first game in Brooklyn! It's taking too long.

If the Nyets can't win more than 22 games which is the most they won in years then they belong in the D-League.

No, be the straight shooter you profess to be, you know, keeping it real???...Call a starphuck a starphuck...U are trying to use the Nets to dig at the few Knick fans who might care...Nets are starphuckers too with no semblance of thought about building a team but you are cheering their moves on...Those moves are no different from the moves Isiah made while he was here...Do they have any draft picks the next 10 years??..They are grabbing names to put on a uni, so people might show up at their grand opening...That's cool and all but if you are about keeping it real, u have to admit these moves are about making a splash and nothing more..100 writers????..Dudes who don't watch the games???

Just a little worried about Boston but our defense will win us a lot of games and we will win the division. We're not worried about last seasons lottery teams.

Despite allowing Jeremy Lin to go, Knicks' GM Glen Grunwald still did a masterful job filling out the team. Felton and Kidd are quality floor generals. With little room to work with Grunwald made the right moves one after the other.

They don't watch the games? They are beat reporters, they are at every game, talk to the players, GM's, scouts, are in the locker rooms, etc. Some are hacks like Vescey, but we don't know if he is on the list.

Admit they are about making a splash? Not sure. Isiah had imbalanced teams. I guess we'll have to let the games sort it all out.

Boston will get 2nd seed behind Miami. They've improved drastically replacing Allen who barely played last year because of injuries with Terry and adding Sullinger and Melo! Remember they had KG playing C last year cos they were so thin up front

I'd be happy with the Knicks getting the 3 seed but I believe the Knicks can grab the 2. Either way it will be a huge step up from where we've been.

+1. Boston had an amazing draft. I think Sullinger makes an immediate impact. I think KG still gets a ton of minutes at center but I think Melo helps. Did Fab get injured recently. I saw a headline with him in it and I don't remember if it was injury related or something else.

I'm not gonna give Boston any credit just yet. Terry is not a lock to be as effective as Allen had been. Sullinger and Melo are babies. You can't predict how their games will translate on this level. My guess is they struggle against the size and strength in the NBA. We'll see if Boston can hold off the Knicks this time. I think NY will be stronger out of the gate with more vets and legit depth.
